Chapter Text
Neolithic(ish) period-
Greekish Peninsula/Archipelago-
<10 miles of Larissa-
Percy’s Perspective:
Owwwwwww… my back. Gods You couldn’t just die in peace could you. That was extremely painful… God my side… grandfather what the hell did your scythe do to me? Where even am I? I am surrounded by forests… Where is civilization?
*shuttering of leaves from a Bush 6 feet away*
“Who is there?” I uncapped riptide. “Show yourself.” The brush began to bend as a woman walked out of the bush. She had a dirty blonde hair and stormy gray eyes. “Athena?” She stared at me and what I assumed to be bewilderment before questioning, “Who’s Athena?” What? Where the heck Am I? “Goddess of Wisdom and Battle Strategy..?” The woman continued, “I’m not aware of such a goddess, however we could really use her.”
“Ma’am, who is the king of the gods?” She cleared her throat, “The, titan Lord…” Oh Crap… he sent me back in time?! “Ma’am have you met a godling named Zeus?” She raised a… “Whoa whoa it’s n… what the hell is that dagger made of?” I definitely shorted her thought process… “Flint. I… Wait, what is your blade made of?” Why would a divine entity have a flint tool? Isn’t that exclusively used to start fires? “It’s bronze, A metal mix between copper and tin… Can you use Flint to kill monsters? Also, what is your name?”
“I am Metis, Titaness of Wisdom and Cunning. Yes, it’s the weapons that… which side of the war are you on?” Metis… I feel like I know her name. I can hear Annabeth screaming at me for not knowing this, but… ugh. I think she might be the mother of Athena, but I could really be wrong… I mean, she does look like her so I’m going to go with that. “I’m a spawn of one of Prometheus‘s creations and the middle son of the Titan Lord. And I personally have no loyalty towards the Titan Lord.”
“Wait, what was the last thing Zeus Poseidon, Hades, Hera, Demeter, and Hestia did?” Metis answered, “They just got back to the surface from freeing the Cyclopes.” “Back to Mount Olympus?!” She nodded. “We have to Get There Now! Kronos is on His Way!” “How… if he’s going there, then we won’t be able to get there in time to warn them…”
“I… Hold on to me and close your eyes and focus on Mount Olympus. Focus on Zeus. Focus on wanting to be there.” Metis Close her eyes, and I could feel the power inside of her beginning to stir as she began to glow. I close my eyes in preparation of her true form, hoping that she can successfully manifest us using her true form on the mountain.
Mount Olympus-
Third Person:
The six Olympians had arrived on Mount Olympus with the three elder Cyclopes. The half bloods present, who were sparring to be ready to fight the Titan Lord; stopped to stare in at the second set of triplets of the Earth mother. They also marvel at Zeus’ master bolt, Poseidon’s Orichalcum Trident, and Hades’ Helm of Darkness. And everyone could feel the energy crackling from all three symbols of power.(not that anyone knew that that’s what those were yet) it was suddenly if they finally held the keys that made this rebellion plausible and not just a fantasy.
However, any celebrations were instantly cut short as golden light started to admit from the center of the courtyard Ish thing. All of the half bloods instinctively covered their eyes, not understanding why but they could feel the power of what was approaching. Fighter flight kicked in and they all chose to flight and it would save them all. The Sons of the Titan Lord ready their symbols of power. However, once the glow died, and they saw who it was, Zeus was the first to speak.
“Metis?! How did yo… What did yo… Who’s that!?” Percy spoke before anyone else could, “We all Need to Leave Right Now! Kronos Knows About Everything! He Knows about Mount Olympus!” Everyone was equal parts, terrified, and confused. Hades challenged, “That’s impossible there’s no way Father could’ve learned about the mountain. How do you even know about the mountain?” Just as quickly as Percy cut off everyone else a mound of earth grew near Metis. It quickly took form into a beautiful woman with earthy brown hair and pine green eyes. With a gown flowing of vines and leaves covering her elegantly.
Gaia spoke expeditiously, “Grandchildren, I have no idea how your father possibly could’ve learned about the stronghold. He called it by the very name that you gave it Zeus. The only people who know the name of this mountain are literally on this mountain. I… celestial bronze… Half blood how do you even have a blade forged from that?” Percy hesitated for a moment before blurting out, “It was a gift from a constellation, a friend of mine.”
The Gaia‘s eyes narrowed as she didn’t completely believe Percy‘s words, however, “Either way, The boys write all of you need to leave now take the most important things that you can carry and get while going good. Your father and his most trusted advisors are on his way right now from Ortho… luckily, he doesn’t know whatever trick Metis just pulled.”
The half bloods began to rush as fast as they could to collect all of their most valuable and most important equipment and supplies trying to take as much as physically possible while the Olympians and the elder Cyclopes carried as much as they could. Percy took charge leading the half bloods into organized withdrawal and collection of artifacts. Even the leaders of the half bloods already around defaulted to him with his commanding presence as there were something about this half blood that they just couldn’t help but fallow.
