"Can I open my eyes?"
"Not yet, sensei. Just wait a little longer."
"Ajax, I'm freezing."
"You're exaggerating, it's not that cold."
"There is snow above my knees."
"You fought in the archon war, this should be nothing for you."
"Are we almost there?"
"Almost. Wait just a little longer," Zhongli sighed. He was shivering, even though he was wearing Childe's Harbinger cloak. "You can open your eyes, sensei."
The archon opened his eyes, and he completely forgot about the cold. Because the view took his breath away. The sight was truly gorgeous.
The Northern Lights.
The famous aurora of Snezhnaya.
It was even more stunning than he had expected from the tales. Blue, green, pink. They all mixed together, creating a truly beautiful view.
"This is what I wanted to show you about my homecountry, sensei."
"It-It is stunning."
"You're even more stunning." Childe pressed his lips on Zhongli's.
"Ajax..." But the archon didn't pull back. He had accepted the sudden needs from his boyfriend.
Morax slipped. The snow beneath them was slippery and they fell together into the white powder.
Tartaglia laughed, a pure and heartwarming sound.
"You're clumsy, sensei. Didn't expect that from an archon as great as you."
"I'm retired."
"For a reason I see." Childe smirked.
"You bratty-" Zhongli's irritated rant was being cut off by the Harbinger's lips pressed into his once again.
Morax's gloved fingers took a handful of Ajax's ginger hair.
The aurora looked down upon the loving couple. Kiss after kiss, the Harbinger kept the Archon against the floor.
But as Childe pulled back, he saw that the god's teeth were clattering. Guilt crept up his spine and he quickly pulled him up from the snow.
"Sorry, sensei, I'll get you to a warmer place immediately."
The complete way to the closest bar, Zhongli leaned onto Tartaglia. His teeth kept on clattering, being used to the warmth of Liyue as he was.
And as they arrived at the bar and sat down around the hearth, their heads layed at each other, and their hands together.
And one soft kiss.
