Summary
Every October is hell. At least, for Y/N. Being a half-monster-half-human in the circus means they are just as subject to seasonal cycles as the rest. It's even worse when going into heat means they become a slave to their chemistry and are powerless against it. Y/N doesn't want feelings involved -- feelings aren't their thing. Right?
Among the chaos and danger that comes with being a monster in a circus full of monsters, Y/N must juggle and navigate their daily life, threats, and the ever-growing dread over the fact that their heart may belong to someone else.(Written from a first-person perspective, reader is on the asexual spectrum, demi and/or graysexual. No explicit pronouns are used, but reader is written with female biology. This is mostly at it's core a Doctor x Reader story, but I may decide to go the poly route if it's so desired)
