   “My, my! What a handsome boy.” Celestine says, as he steps on the stage. “Before we go any further, do we have any volunteers?”

   Mizi hesitates. No matter who was picked, no matter if it was another kid, it would still have the same outcome. Yet she still hesitates. She wonders what will happen if she doesn’t volunteer. How Shine wouldn’t be mad, really; but disappointed. She wonders if she would be able to handle it. Disappointment.
