Miranda's lips was curved into a smug, cat-like smile, "Would you like to see it up close?"
At Andy's eager nod, Miranda pushed herself off gently before getting on all fours, arching her back with the tattoo now on full display: "Lucky You", in a looping font just at the base of her spine.
"Lucky You. Seems appropriate for the occasion, don't you think?" Her voice was a low, purring murmur.
The lamp casted shadows onto the skin, making it seem like a secret message written just for Andy. The sight, combined with the memory of how the same skin had felt under her hands and against her body sent a fresh thrill straight through Andy.
Miranda looked back over her shoulder, shooting Andy a smouldering look, "Go on. Touch it."
"God," Andy said, her voice strangled, "You're unbelievable."
Andy's fingers trembled slightly as she reached out, tracing the elegant looping letters with the tip of her fingers. A shiver ran through Miranda's body at the contact as a soft, pleased hum escaped her throat, "Well? Are you going to do anything about your…luck?"
