Next thing Flowery knew, he was being almost smothered under Asgore's chest up against the wall of his room. When he'd said he'd do anything to please his king, this kind of thing..even though he craved intimacy with his best friend, he'd not even dared to actually even dream that Asgore might actually-
"Flowery."
He looked up, face turning from a pale yellow to a orange.
"Y-yes...my king?"
Flowery smiled as sweet as honey, trying to keep composure. He'd imagined what it might feel like to be as close to Asgore as he was currently, how his soft, strong and broad chest might feel pressed against his thin frame, but to experience it was a whole other sensation. And, dear angel... the way he was...staring at him, those brown eyes typically warm and gentle, all of a sudden intense and stern. All in all, this whole scenario was most definitely stirring something in the younger man.
"You would...do anything. For me. Correct?"
The words came out husky and uneasy, like Asgore had difficulty expressing them. Flowery glanced upwards, trying to hide his trembling.
"O-of course... Gorey! That's... what best buddies do....?"
Asgore breathed out, like Flowery confirming it made his own decision set in stone.
"In that case."
Suddenly, Flowery found himself tensing. He could read a room pretty well, and suddenly it was....weirdly...well, tense in here. Like, on the brink of something happening-
Kissing Asgore was another thing he'd always wanted to do, but Flowery had never dreamed it would happen this soon, if at all. His mouth was firm and...real against his, and though Flowery had only had lips for, what, maybe a few hours, he was ecstatic to get to try out one of the more eagerly anticipated perks of his new, human form. Although, it was a little...rough. He'd seen Asgore kissing Toriel, on their wedding day, and it had been soft and kind and loving and he'd wished so much it hurt that it could be him instead of her. Toriel didn't love him anyways. The divorce proved it. Maybe that was why Asgore was holding him so tightly it was slightly painful, maybe he just....hadn't been kissed in a while.
Well, he had no reason to be sad. Not when he had Flowery, his perfect, would-never-leave-him, better-at-baking, amazing, jaronatastic (🥹🥹🙏🙏) best friend.
So, Flowery allowed Asgore to continue, and then deepen the kiss, letting slip a soft gasp as his tongue entered his mouth. Ok, this was not how he envisioned his literal first ever kiss. But, well, who cared. If Asgore wanted this....it was his only wish to make his king happy. And anyways, this was all he'd ever wanted, for Asgore to see him in the way Flowery saw him. That was why he didn't particularly mind as Asgore's touch became more possessive, rougher...Flowery wouldn't even have dared to associate the word with Asgore before, but aggressive!
It felt like years or maybe barely even a few seconds and then the kiss was over. Could he even call it a kiss? It was more than one, that was for sure. And he didn't even know what to think about the whole tongue in mouth business. Was that a human display of affection or was Asgore just...kind of.... odd?
Speaking of odd, he had gone from freakishly assertive and powerful and.. wonderful, to.. whatever this was. Asgore looked...guilty. Conflicted, even. He stepped away from him, avoiding eye contact, and then scurried out the room. Flowery briefly considered pursuing him, but then found his legs refusing to move. He slumped down the wall, face burning and still shaky. Angel... what had just happened?
