Summary
Befriending someone you've met in a psych ward and getting weirdly attached to him was never really a good idea. Everyone ends up in there for a reason. But it is what it is, and Drew, not exactly in the soundest state of mind himself, has to deal with his new friend Jake's shenanigans, too.
Their friendship runs on silence from the very start — the kind that, at first, only makes the other person more intruguing. By the end, the same silence is what turns the whole thing into a catastrophe.
There was always a message Drew could've sent. A feeling he should've said out loud. Something that might have stopped all of it — and he didn't say it. And Drew knew that someday it would come back to bite him.
