Childe poured himself a cup, adding a cube of sugar before stirring it. Paimon drank her cocoa, occasionally stopping to peer out the window at the landscape passing them by. Lumine sipped her tea, while the Harbinger leaned back against the bench with his own cup in hand.
She held her mug, unsure of what to say. It had been so long since she'd last seen him. She could tell him everything, from the very beginning ever since they parted ways. But where would she even begin? The tales themselves were quite detailed, so could she even ensure to get all the details of experiencing the camaraderie of fighting alongside friends in Natlan? Then what about in Nod-Krai, where she aided companions in a convoluted plan to defeat both a Sinner? Back to Sumeru, to get rid of one of his colleagues? Or even the instance of her slaying a dragon in Mondstadt?
Just as she opened her mouth to talk, his expression grew wistful, after having taken a sip of the tea. "Tastes like home. Not as good as my mother's, though. Nobody makes tea like my mother."
