Summary
For centuries, Winterfell has upheld an ancient tradition: no child of House Stark is to be promised in marriage before their true nature reveals itself.
When Jon Snow unexpectedly presents as an alpha at the age of twenty-one—an event considered nearly impossible — the balance of the North begins to unravel. Rumors spread among the great Houses, forgotten customs resurface, and questions of blood, succession, and power cease to be mere echoes of the First Men.
As Eddard Stark struggles to protect his family from the political consequences of Jon's presentation, increasingly strange events begin drawing Jon and Sansa together in ways neither of them can understand. Shared dreams, calls that cross ancient walls, and instincts that defy all explanation give rise to a question for which not even Winterfell's oldest records seem to hold an answer.
But above all else, one question remains — one that only Eddard Stark can answer: how could two siblings be bound together in such a way?
