Okay. We've all seen the gifs of the cheek kisses (MULTIPLE!!). I'm still in the midst of having lost my mind. But I also had a nap and so many things I need to get out before I forget them so. Here we go. A not very coherent and unstructured recounting of this evening, by yours truly

• my first time in Carolina! We made a full trip out of it but that isn't what you're here for so let's get to the good part

• we got there early to beat the traffic and get a good parking spot and it was SO WORTH IT bc Roz actually stopped on his way into the arena (we didn't bother theam I swear the others just went in but he actually handed is bag off to Marly (!!!) and stayed to sign stuff and take selfies and aaaaaaah I am so dead it was so cool my selfie has me red as a tomato but so worth it) and I got him to sign my artwork of him and Hollsy (the CCM photoshoot inspired one, old but at least not shippy and he was like "tag me on twitter, i want a copy" like ???? This stuff DOES NOT HAPPEN I STILL CANNOT BELIEVE THIS HAPPENED TO ME!! srsly he was soooo sweet you guys not an asshole at all oh my god I love him and I'm not even a raiders fan oh my god)

• I had to go walk the parking lot three times because I was so hyped up (and guys it's really not a small parking lot but !!!!)

• I met up with @scottcunter and @carry-carolina shortly before warm-ups and we got some insanely overpriced soda and hotdogs ($15 for a sad lil hotdog???)

• Okay now what y'all were actually interested in: WARMUPSSSS

• Hollsy, Piker, Marly, and Roz played a game of keepaway. For real. I'm not making this hsit up. HOW could I make this shit up if I read this in a fanfic I'd be like haha no way

• I'm pretty sure the keepaway started bc Roz wanted to annoy piker and the others joined in and i swear they were all laughing? Holy shit I didn't know I needed them all to be on a team but I NEED THEM ALL ONA TEAM THEY ARE ENRICHMENT FOR EACH OTHERS ENCLOSRUE I SWEAR YOU CANNOT SEPARATE THEM THEY'LL BE SAD

• Roz stuck to Marly and my poor hearttttt. Again not a Raiders fan but like. seperating these two is just cruel

• Roz and Hollsy definitely were aware of the whole backhand thing. Not a surprise after that "totally random" challenge yesterday but even during warmups. they're terrible i love them

• our seats were pretty decent at middle-ish row behind the away net so we got lots lots lots of Hollanov actions ^^

• Starting lines oh my goddd Hollsy at C with Roz on LW and Piker on RW and jusssst themst. Roz was definitely saying something to Piker as they skated on but fuck if I know what you guys probably saw more on the streams

• Hollsy vs Scotty on the faceoff??? I wish we knew what Hollsy said to make Scotty laugh and then LOSE THE DRAW and like. First goal riiiiiight off the dot as we know and love from Hollsy

• Roz AND Piker with the As on that goal (like the good As they are) and a celly in the corner and just ??? I am so dead I saw Roz beam at Hollsy and it was visible from where we were sitting how did yall survive the broadcast???

• okay I probably dont need to recap the entire game bc like yall saw the stream so heres what the stream maybe didnt pick up

• Hollsy and Roz were INSEPERABLE on the bench. For real. I'm not making this up. they looked like they were discussing strats like this was game seven in the playoffs, not the ASG

• AND IT SHOWED!!! EIGTH FUCKING GOALS FRO THE OF THEM AND ANOTHER TWO FROM PIKER AND ???

• Marly was left a little in the dust even tho he was on Roz's other side as much as possible on the bench. maybe also as insurance that it wouldn't be piker on roz's other side lol

• their cellies got more and more elaborate like whaaaaaaaaat but again y'a;l have seen the gifs already (i certainly spammed them bc woah our gif gods and goddesses are working INSANELY FAST) and it was CRAZY in person I swear

• Roz also definitely had it out for Scotty lol idek what was up there but they were both grinning so I don't think Roz was being homophobic. like, we know what Scotty looks like when he's hanging onto his murder impulse by a thread and that was not that. if it wasn't for the Hollanov of it all, I'd be like SCOYA ANYONE???

• speaking of shipping tho Matti Jalo anyone??? Like. Scotty and Jelly were ALLLL over each other all game and they're not even on a line but still like Jelly fed Scotty two of his four goals and got another goal himself with assist to Scotty and their cellies... *fans self* Are we sure Scotty still has his non-player bf???

• God the Vancouver boys wer also something even tho REALLY not my team

• Also the Hollanov. It's real. I swear. They are soulmates and their playing is proof. Piker may be jealous but i don't have proof for that but I also saw him laughing with Marly so maybe he's found someone to get over his broken heart with

• no seriously the way Roz looked at Hollsy like alllll game? like. Relax boy no one's taking him from you you're teammates for this game
