Summary
Alfred didn’t want to sit down with someone and negotiate with a partner who respected him and saw him as his equal. He didn’t want to enact something in a safe environment where they both knew it was make-believe, where Alfred could shout a safe word and the whole simulation would end on the spot. That was too safe, too fake.
Alfred wanted the real thing. He wanted an actual criminal to attack him and fuck him stupid when he was least expecting it.
