Felix’s mind was always blown every time he entered Wonderland. Everything was so colorful and alive there. It was a stark contrast to how he grew up on the isle. He could practically hear Celia and Freddie teasing him for liking the kingdom. Regardless of all that he couldn’t help the fact that the world definitely calmed him to an extent, he always leapt at the opportunity to go.
Lately though, the woods around the castle haven't been the only reason he was drawn to the world. Recently he’d been drawn to the smell of strawberry shortcake perfume and the look of frilly pink dresses more than usual. Pink of Wonderland was beginning to catch his attention in a way that he had never really experienced. On the aisle and kinds of relationships were never a focus, the focus was always on survival and making sure no one stole your stuff and getting revenge on those who did. Hell, Felix barely knew his own mother and most of his friends didn’t know one of their parents, romance wasn’t part of a villain's life. So this whole feeling was making him feel crazy. He didn’t know whether what he was feeling was some kind of crush or if he was gonna go crazy like his dad and start talking to his friends on the other side. And the irritating people he chose as friends definitely didn’t help.
“Felix!”
“Hm? Yeah?” He said responding to the hook waving in his face. “What’s up?”
“Why do you keep spacing out?”
“I wasn’t spacing out.” Felix rolled his eyes attempting to deflect the attention off of him.
“Anyway, Max and I were trying to ask if you wanted to go back to Wonderland this weekend.”
Felix immediately perked up, “Oh, Yeah I’ll go.”
“See, told you.” Hazel said, rolling her eyes and turning to look at Max. Felix furrowed his brows. “What do you mean ‘told you’?”
Max responded, “Hazel figured out that you have a crush on one of the wonderland princesses and that mentioning going to wonderland would be a way to tell.”
“Ooouhhhhhh.” The Smee twins said as they paused from where they were wrestling to listen to the conversion.
“Yeah right,” Felix scoffed while pulling out his cards and shuffling them in his hands, “I don’t have ‘crushes’. My dad was the Voodoo Man, love is not in the cards for me.” Hazel exchanged a look with Max. “What’s the look for?”
“You’re a great liar, but we know you well enough to know that you’re lying.” Max said.
“Except I’m not lying.”
“But you are. ” Hazel responded.
Felix rolled his eyes, “I’m going to turn you both into frogs.”
“Look, all I’m saying is it’s fine to have a crush on whichever one you have a crush on.” Hazel said as she watched a certain blue haired princess walk across the courtyard.
“So which sister is it?” Max pressed.
“Okay so now I’m not gonna turn you into a frog, I’ll turn you into a cat.”, he pointed at Max, “and turn you into a baby alligator.” Both of them shuddered and finally left Felix be. Back on the Isle they would’ve rolled their eyes but now that Felix actually had his magic at his disposal they knew he would make good on his threat.
As the two returned to their conversation Felix continued to manipulate his cards, fanning them out and spinning them in his hands as he thought about what Hazel said. Eventually he was going to have to figure out what was going on with him, but talking to his friends was clearly out of the question. His sisters and dad were probably gonna laugh at him as well. Honestly it was looking like his only options were Luis (no way), Robbie (definitely not), Red (its her sister), or Chloe (best choice). Chloe it was. He’d talk to Chloe…eventually.

Later that same day Felix was walking towards his dorm when he heard, “Felix, would you mind helping us?” come from behind him in a happy voice. He turned around and saw Pink standing there with her sister. Pink was wearing the Pink-est outfit ever, dressed in a pretty frilly pink and white dress with her hair pulled into a high pony tail with a bow. While Red was wearing a typical red and black leather outfit. “Uh, what's the problem?” He said making an attempt to be nice. “We need help moving all of the treats I baked from the kitchen to the cafeteria!” She said, sounding as chipper as ever. “Yeah…Sure.” He walked over to the two to follow them to the kitchen, missing the curious look that Red gave him.
When he walked into the kitchen it looked like wonderland puked all over it. There were baked goods shaped like hearts, flamingos, castles, flowers, teacups and more. When he walked in, he quirked an eyebrow before looking down at the two sisters. “Really?”
“It's so adorable right! It took me a while but it was so fun! And Red helped a lot!” Pink said, smiling up at him. The corner of his mouth quirked up in a smile for a second before he schooled his face into a neutral expression. “Yeah.” He responded evenly. “I can just use my cards to lift it all into the air and carry it to the cafeteria.”
“Thanks Felix.” Red said, looking at him with an expression that gave him the feeling that he was being analyzed. “Mhm.” He responds before pulling out his cards and fanning them out in both hands before twisting his arms around each other. As the green light started to swirl around his hand she focused his energy into all the treats and lifted them up. Before walking out of the kitchen and towards the cafeteria with the snacks following him. Pink skipped next to him and Red walked a step behind them. Something in Felix made him want to say something to Pink so he asked, “What exactly is all of this for?”
“It’s for Barrier day!”
“Oh, I forgot that was coming up.”
“Yeah they’re having all the royal kids from each kingdom bring something and Red and I decided to bake!”
“Cool.” Felix said as he walked into the cafeteria and willed all the snacks to hover over a table before de-fanning the cards in his hand causing them to lower on to the table. “Thank you so much.” Pink said, hopping and clapping her hands a little before hugging Felix and running off to start arranging the snacks in the exact way she wanted.
Felix stood there rooted to his spot as if his dads spirits were holding him down, he can’t remember the last time he’d been hugged much lest the last time he was shocked to his core by something so mundane. He shook his head and turned around to leave to only be faced by Red.
“I don’t know quite what is going on, here but if anything happens and you hurt my sister I’ll remind you all why I’m actually a VK not an HK.”
Felix nodded quickly before basically bolting out of the cafeteria and to immediately look for Chloe.

Felix managed to find Chloe sitting by herself in the library. “Hello Chloe.” He said walking up and sitting across from her. “Hi Felix.” She said looking up at him from her book.
“I need help.” The words felt wrong on his tongue but here he was.
“Clearly. What's the problem?”
“I feel weird about someone and I don’t know what happening.”
“What do you mean weird?”
“I don’t know, I start noticing them all the time and I’ve been thinking about them more often and they make me smile and I don’t smile often. And just now they hugged me and I completely froze.”
Chloe smiled softly, “It sounds like you have a crush Felix.”
“That’s not possible though, villains don’t have ‘crushes’ especially not Facilier’s.”
“You can be attracted to someone Felix, you know that's okay right?”
“But, I- I don’t know.”
“I understand that this is hard for you but you have to dig a little deeper. Your families standards or reputation isn’t a burden you should be forced to be carry.”
“I’m losing my mind.”
“Can I ask who it is?”
“You swear you won’t tell?”
“Charming's Honor.”
“Pink…” Felix said looking down into his hands.
“That’s so cute.”
“Shut up Charming.”
“Truly though, if you have a crush on Pink, just tell her. And if she says no don’t turn her into a frog.”
Felix gave her pointed look as she chuckles at her joke.
“Right, my bad, but seriously, if she says she likes you too, you can take her on a date.”
“A date?”
“Yes take her out to eat, or take her to do something."
“Do you think it would be a good idea to see if she wants to bake together or something?”
“Yes that a great idea Felix.”
“Okay, how do I tell her?”
“Speak from the heart.”
“Look I know who your parents are but c'mon.”
“I’m just saying you just need to tell her you like her and that you would like to take her on a date. I know Pink, she won’t need a big speech. If she likes you she likes you.”
“Right yeah, okay.”
“And what do I do about Red? She threatened me and said don’t hurt Pink.”
“Honestly I don’t know what to tell you about that. Just don’t hurt her.”
“Cool. Cool. Okay. Thank You Chloe.” Felix said as he got up.
“Hold on that wasn’t for free I need you to answer a question too.”
“Yeah?”
“Hazel…Do you happen to know if she likes girls?”
“While I think that's a question you should ask her, I can tell you as her friend I think that you have a great chance.” Felix says as he walked away after seeing the smile that overtook the princess’ face.

It took Felix an entire month to work up the courage to talk to Pink. He finally found her outside on the courtyard sitting on a pastel pink blanket with a picnic like spread.
“Uh, hey Pink.” He said surprising himself with how casual he was able to make it sound.
“Hey Felix! Wanna sit down and eat lunch with me?”
“Yeah, yeah.” Felix sat down next to Pink and pulled his cards out before he allowed himself to continue, “I actually wanted to tell you something.”
“Of course what did you want to tell me?” Pink said looking a Felix with a blinding smile.
“Well…I’ve had a…” C’mon Felix, you’re almost there, just say it! “I’ve had crush on you for a little while.” Felix said as he twisted his cards around nervously. Pink looked stunned and didn’t say anything. Felix kept fiddling with his cards faster as he looked at her waiting on a response.
“Oh! Felix you’re causing the food to float!” Felix looked around at the food levitating off the ground and the green light around his hands before quickly closing his cards down and sitting them in his lap.
“Sorry! I’m kinda nervous.”
“It’s okay.” Pink said as she watched the food go back down the the blanket. “However, I’ve had a crush on you too Felix. Honestly for a while, but I thought you would never like me.”
It took Felix a second to let that sink in as a real smile slowly spread across his face. “Wait? Why wouldn’t I like you.”
“I don’t know, were opposites in everything.”
“I think that's part of why I like you. You’re more expressive and joyful in a way that I will probably never be, its endearing. You’re also way kinder than me and you think of other people in a way that I’m not the best at.”
Pink looked at him in a way that completely melted Felix, “You’re kinder than you give yourself credit for.”
Felix laughed and said “Don’t accuse me of that.” Pink laughed and leaned against Felix slightly.
“So could I take you on a date? We could bake together or something.”
“Yeah, that would be super fun! We could use the kitchen in my castle! It has everything you could think of!”
“Okay, yeah.” Felix said truly smiling again for the second time in 5 minutes.
That has to be a record.
