    “I warned you so many times, Spoke,” Jamato said with a disappointed sigh. “This is truly no one’s fault but your own.”

    It was like the maze all over again. Now all Spoke had to do was scramble for excuses like he always did, as if he was begging Jamato to see that he was good. Then it would be complete. Then everything would come perfectly full circle, even through the bars of a makeshift jail cell.

    But instead, Spoke kept staring. The only response he gave was his glitching growing sharper and ever more erratic.
