Summary
It's been a full year since Envy nearly died bleeding out in the snow after over a century of waiting. It's been a full year since August found them, took them in, and gave them a reason to want to live again. The Philosopher's Stone in Envy's core is no longer the one bestowed to them by Father, but a second chance at life.
August is still studying alkahestry in Central, and Envy is still unsure what to do with their newfound freedom. Supposedly everyone he's known in the past is long gone. Only two people alive know the how the Law of Equivalent Exchange can be twisted and exploited. Only two people know that nothing is truly impossible, least of all artificial humans.
