Hax looked down at his prosthetic leg. He’d decided to keep it metallic; partly for the aesthetic partly for the statement of his own abnormality. But mostly because it was cheaper. The morphine and good metal and the whole 'keeping him from bleeding out while missing two limbs' ate into his savings.
