Bakugou and Todoroki after getting their provisional hero licence, got closer, and became… «besties» but Bakugou would've rather die than say that out loud.
Regardless they chat basically everyday, especially when their crushes post something on their media.
Bakugou always had the hunch thay Todoroki liked Sero, especially since Icyhot phone wallpaper is literally a photo of Sero's bicep, since that dummy once posted it on his Instagram, and Todoroki immediately screenshoted.
And Todoroki didn't need to be told twice to think of a conspiracy theory, but this one was true, Bakugou had a massive crush on Midoriya, and he always tried to hide it by being an asshole to him, but didn't do well enough, since when Deku gets hurt, the first one there is always Bakugou.

The rest of class 1-A was in the common room playing board games, with truth & dare?
Doesn't make sense.
But the only two missing, like always who didn't wanna join, were Bakugou and Todoroki.

Kirishima pouted.
Deku let out a short laugh "You know them, both antisocial."
Mina put her hands on her hips and let out an annoyed huff "Ugh! They're never here!"
Sero played another card "Let them be, they'll come out when they're ready"
Deku nodded in agreement.
Mina stompped her foot, everyone had a notification ding?
"Uh? I'll check it, it's probably in the class group, if we all got it."

Uraraka covered her ears "who was it?"
"Todoroki amd Bakugou are texting in the wrong group chat!" Mina's connecting her phone to the TV.
