Summary
Ivy moves across the country, and is taken in by Sleep. She leases a studio apartment to him and gives him a job at her diner. His coworkers, alphas and omegas alike, seem to be surprisingly interested in him, but that's a problem for Ivy. He isn't like other alphas and he doesn't want anyone to find out, but his impending rut might cause a certain handsy alpha to blow his cover.
Vessel lives in a state of perpetual distraction. Whether it's one of his mate's heats, or a stiff drink, he's always trying to turn off his brain. And he thinks Sleep's brought him a shiny new toy wrapped up in scent patches and dress pants.
II couldn't make his own world any smaller than it is already. He'd hide in the dishwasher if he could. But the new server seems like he might be soft enough to be II's next weighted blanket.
III is grateful for where he is now. A home, a couple mates, a protective pack alpha. Sure, there's a gaping hole in his chest from missing his own flesh and blood, and every now and then is starts to ache. He won't go looking for new distractions though, not like before.
