The squad leaves Seungmin and Hyeongjun behind to take Jooyeon to the hospital.
It’s probably not the brightest idea to leave people behind at the house they got ambushed in, but everybody was panicking about Jooyeon’s head injury and had time to think of that. It’s not like these two have no experiences in self defense, after all Hyeongjun was the one who scared the assailants into retreating by blasting them with fire extinguisher foam.
It’s only the two of them now. They’re both pretty roughed up so Seungmin decided to bring out the first aid kit that he’s sure grateful they kept in the apartment. He handed the case over to Hyeongjun who opened it, revealing the medical tools inside. “I’m glad we have this.” Seungmin said. “Iodine, bandages, cotton swabs packed neatly. Hyeongjun popped the bottle of iodine open, squeezing a small drop onto a cotton swab. “This will sting a little” He warned, Seungmin nodded. He carefully applied it to a gash on Seungmin’s left hand and put a little bandaid over it. “Looks like you won’t play the keyboard for a while, but that’s a problem for future Seungminie.” He said teasingly. “Shut up. Not the moment.” The younger man went on to wrap the older’s bruises in bandages, applying some pressure gently.
Seungmin’s turn now. “Okay, turn around. That one on your back looks nasty.” He told Hyeongjun. He tucked Hyeongjun’s scarlet red hair aside to see the wound properly. It started to dry by then. Regardless, Seungmin still wanted to make sure it wouldn't get infected in the future. Using his uninjured hand, he went over the cut with iodine. It’s too big to wrap any bandages around efficiently, so he reluctantly had to leave it uncovered. He moved onto other smaller cuts. “Surprisingly not a lot of blunt force injury.” Seungmin pointed out. “Yeah, I mostly got hurt from the glass breaking,” said Hyeongjun.
The two took turns tending to each other’s injuries. “Do you want an ice pack?” Hyeongjun suggested. “No, that’s fine. I don’t think we have one.” Seungmin replied. Is it gay to for two bandmates to tend to each other's wounds? Well, what’s definitely gay is them cuddling on the couch afterwards. Hyeongjun hummed contently and started drifting off to sleep while Seungmin played with his hair. “Gunil hyung would probably tell us to get a room when he comes back.” Seungmin joked. “Yeah. Too tired to get up though.” Hyeongjun said. “I know.”
The sound of the door swinging open echoed through the apartment, the others were back. Gunil was the first to enter. “How is Jooyeon?” Seungmin asked. “He’s okay, just a mild concussion.” The rest of the group trailed behind. Jooyeon peaked over his leader’s shoulder and piped up “Awwww look who’s cuddling-” Before Jooyeon could finish the sentence, Hyeongjun was startled awake and shot up in his seat. “I swear to god Joo you woke him up, I'm about to give you a second concussion.” “Seungmin! Don't say that!"
