Summary
What he doesn't tell them is that he's kind of been avoiding his teammate. Not on purpose, not really, it's just every time Lando asks him to hang out, Oscar's heartbeat kicks in his chest and his palms get sweaty and he doesn't really know what to do in that situation so he tells him he's busy. Or when he sees him in the paddock talking to a fan and their eyes meet and Lando smiles at him, he immediately turns in the other direction.
It started a few weeks before the new season was to start. Oscar was at Lando's place for the day, which turned into staying the night and crashing on his couch, to a few days later the two of them realizing he just… never left. It wasn't much different then how they normally spent their breaks if he's being honest, but Lando… Lando was touching him. A lot.
