"You're the patient, I'm the nurse," said Emily in as firm a voice as she could manage.
She squinted, trying to make the severity play out on her face. Instead of engaging her stern gaze, Alastor's eyes fell to the meeting of their bodies. He raised a brow.
"In that case, I'm sure you've noticed my condition by now."
A chirp and tilt of the head spelt her confusion. Pulling his gaze back to her face, Alastor smirked.
"I'm heartless."
Since her deer is such a special case, Nurse Emily is prepared to give Alastor a very special treatment!
