Chapter Text
Alarm bells rang throughout the Chaldea, awakening Humanities Final Master from her sleep. Ritsuka Fujimaru threw herself out the bed and stumbled to her wardrobe, changing her pyjamas for her normal white and black clothes. Just as she finished, the loyal purple haired demi-servant Mash opened the door.
“Master! Are you ready? It appears to be a big event!” Mash said. All Ritsuka could do was nod weirilly, regretting her choice to stay up late trying to catch up on anime. It had only been a month since they had beaten Soloman and his demons in the temple of time. This shouldn’t be happening, right? Ritsuka’s head spun as she walked into the control room. SHEBA seemed to be freaking out and Da Vinci was trying to remain calm, ordering people around to try different things to help SHEBA pinpoint the issue. Da Vinci noticed Ritsuka and Mash enter and waved them over.
“I apologise that this couldn’t wait, Ritsuka, but SHEBA and CHALDEAS are struggling to locate the issue. But they are insisting an issue is happening. If they find it, we need to send you in immediately.” Da Vinci explained, frowning at the screen that was cycling through various dates and times. Ritsuka nodded. She understood the importance of keeping humanity safe at a moment's notice. If it was going to be a long night, she wanted some coffee. Almost as if Mash had read her mind, Mash was already beside her with a styrofoam cup, filled with coffee from the coffee machine Da Vinci kept in the control room.
“Thank you Mash.” Ritsuka said with a smile. Unfortunately for Humanities Final Master, the cup didn’t even touch her lips before Da Vinci let out a whoop of victory.
“We have pinpointed it down. Looks like the issue was… That can’t be right… According to this… This is fictional history? Is that even possible?” Da Vinci said, going from victorious to confused in a matter of minutes. “I suppose, if fictional servants can appear… It only makes sense that fictional timelines can appear.” Da Vinci mused to herself. Ritsuka could only sigh as she put her coffee down and prepared for the rayshift.
“Who will we arrange to take with us Master?” Mash asked. Ritsuka thought about this. “Perhaps Sherlock would be able to help us on this mission?” She continued hopefully.
“Sorry, Sherlock won’t be able to join you. He is occupied with the Atlas Institute at the moment.” Da Vinci said. Mash made a little ‘Aww’ as they approached the machine that would send them into the fictional past.
AD.20XX A World Wrapped In The Past: Shadow Moses Island
Deep within Shadow Moses Island, the villain awaited, shrouded in shadows. A second villain approached, also choosing to remain shrouded in shadows.
“It is as I predicted. Using the grail has gained the attention of Humanities Final Master. The ring in the sky is a sure indication.” The second figure said. The first figure nodded.
“Make sure everyone is prepared then. My people will take care of Solid Snake. Your people can take down the one you refer to as Humanities Final Master. By the end, we shall show the world that it has no need for Masters.” The first figure replied.
