“You said your clone took away your human side,” Aldo whispered, keeping one hand on his waist while the other lightly touched his cheek, running his fingers along the faded green marks on pale skin, tracing them like a map. “But you’re here, giving in to the most human feeling of them all.”
Multi felt the touch and couldn’t help but lean onto it. He was supposed to be uncaring, devoid of feelings towards his family, towards Aldo. “I thought ending with my humanity also meant getting rid of this… feelings.”
But here he was, just like Aldo said, succumbing to the man that captivated his heart with a well-done couple of actions.
Multi was supposed to die that day, alone in that desert, but he didn't.
He was alive, but nothing felt the same anymore. Except for his feelings, those he thought he never had until his family came into his life.
