You lay there in your bed. You closed your eyes and waited, you still couldn’t go to sleep. You closed your eyes again to just stare at darkness for the next 3 minutes. You couldn’t sleep.
Your eyes opened back again and sat up from your bed. You looked around your room. You looked at your clock, 01:28. You stood up from your bed and you decided you wanted to go outside. You put on some slippers, opened the front door and went outside.
The cold air outside hit your face. You walked forward and looked at the view, it was beeautiful. You continued walking until you were at the beach. You were looking at the night sky until you saw Cass. She was looking at the sky too but just a few metres in front of you.
You were surprised for some reason. You walked up to her.
”Hi Cass!” You said while walking up to her.
She turned around to see you in your pyjamas. “Heyy” She replied.
“Why are you at the beach during this time?” Asked Cass.
“Why are you?” You asked.
“Well, uhhmm I just needed to step outside for a bit.” Cass answered while sitting down.
You decided to sit down too. Your fingers felt the little grains of sand. Cass looked at you while you were looking down at the sand.
“So, you were here because?” Cass asked.
“I couldn’t sleep.” You replied.
Cass looked at your hands playing with the sand. She held up a seashell she found on the sand. She showed you the seashell.
“I found this seashell. Do you want it?” Cass asked
“Sure” You said.
You held your hand out while Cass put the seashell on your sand-covered hand. You placed the shell in your pocket. You and Cass started talking about random stuff. While you continued to talk about stuff you noticed Cass stopped talking. You looked at Cass to see that she fell asleep while laying her head on your shoulder. You carefully stood up without waking her up. You lifted Cass carefully, trying to not wake her up, and walked to the Wizard siblings’ house. You were struggling because you’ve never in your life lifted a fully grown adult before. You removed one hand from Cass and tried to not fall over while doing it. You turned the door handle of the house to see if it was unlocked. The door opened. You stepped inside while holding Cass. You looked up and saw Crispin standing there.
Crispin looked you up and down. You started feeling embarrassed.
“Uhhm… Where’s Cass’s room?” You asked
Crispin sighed and lead you to her room. He opened the door and you walked inside. You walked to Cass’s bed and carefully placed her on her bed. You turned around and thanked Crispin for some reason. You were so embarrassed right now.
You walked outside of her room to the outside of the house and ran to your house. You opened your door and stepped inside. You quickly closed it and locked it. You ran to your room and laid on your bed to think of what you just did. You started to feel tired from all of that running. You looked at your ceiling before closing your eyes and going to sleep.
