Feofan has hopes a university degree would be the next step in successfully burying his pitiful origins and some unsavory dealings he's done in the name of survival. Driven, ambitious and his future looking brighter than ever, he can be at ease for a bit and think about other matters too, perhaps like love. He wrote the confession on a whim, who knows if his one time former classmate would answer?
