A man was kicking the ball (shocker), and everyone in the pub was really excited about it, no more so than Matt and his work mates, who Mello had been forced to meet this evening.
They were alright, Mello supposed, just very loud and very laddy.
When Matt introduced him to them, they’d tried to make a couple of friendly jokes about his haircut and accent, to which Matt had quickly said ‘Sorry, Mello doesn’t really do jokes,’ and Mello been trying to recover his reputation ever since.
