The Sea And The Summer Breeze

Summary:

[Fradrian Week 2026 | Day 1: Beach Date]

Adrian and Franziska spend a day at the beach.

Notes:

Starting off Fradrian week with something short! I don’t think I will be able to write something for every day, but I hope you enjoy what I’ve prepared, at least. :)

Work Text:

“Help me put on sunscreen again, Adrian.”

To celebrate Franziska’s latest courtroom victory, Franziska and Adrian had made their way to the beach to spend the day together. They had arrived early to take a swim, and had later taken cover under their parasol while they had something to eat before diving in again.

After spraying some sunscreen and spreading it all over Franziska’s back, Adrian realized she still had some remaining on her fingertips, so she leant forward and drew a heart with it on Franziska’s cheek.

“I did not ask for your help to have you do some foolish drawings on my face, Adrian Andrews.” Her tone was stern, but Adrian could see the beginning of a smile in the corners of her mouth.

“Sorry.” This time, she spread the sunscreen properly with a chuckle. “Let me apologize.”

Before Franziska could ask what she meant, Adrian pressed her lips to hers — they tasted like the sea and the summer breeze.

“Apology accepted,” Franziska whispered, her breath still hot against Adrian’s skin as she smiled. “Shall we go back to the water now?”

Without another word, they intertwined their fingers and took off running towards the sea again, together.
