Playing Tag
"This is nice." Harvey sighed. Hand in hand he and his wife and Rosie were taking a walk through the forest on a sunny spring day.
"It is." Rosie agreed. There was just one small problem, she was bored.
Between the farm, their work in the clinic and the combined 5 children on the farm, they didn't get much time for themselves and it usually wasn't very exciting.
They walked west past the traveling merchant's cart when the urge hit her. She swatted Harvey's arm.
"Tag! You're it!" She cried, taking off running south toward the falls.

Confidential Checkup

Finally after two hours of catching up on charting and paperwork, she could stand it no longer.
Harvey, with a sigh, put down his pen, leaning back in his desk chair. "Finally done." He muttered.
Rosie walked over, smirking. "Oh no you're not. I seem to have come down with something."

Letters to Past Self
Dear Past Rosemary,
Burnout is a bitch. As much as you want to keep fighting in the cancer ward, eventually you will crash and you will feel like you have nothing left.
That's when Grandpa's letter will be your saving grace. Do not lose it.
That friend Harvey from your ZCU days? The one you pushed away? Good news:. He still loves you.
I'm not saying your life on Maplewood Farm will be easy. It won't. You will have moments of grief, pain, and loss. But Harvey, Shane, Emily, Sam and Sebastian will be there on your farm with you to help you through it all.
Love, Future Rosemary
