Chapter Text

Shard of fate glows blue in tandem,
shimmering, shining, singing
echo endless, thoughtless ringing,
rearranged almost at random.

But what after all does happen
when the waves of ink that drown,
chip, crack, and sand them down?
Heresy that delays heaven.

Piles of tainted quartzine sand
coalesce into deep calamity.
And I, in purest desperation,
try to hold on to what's left.

A light, banished from this land.
The girl, that clings onto her sanity.
The cage, used up in alienation.
The prince, of all his friends bereft.

Notes:

Guess I should give a little context.
This is a little learn-as-I-write project with trying to find a style I like through something else I also like.

I tried to imagine what would happen to the prophecy after the Angel's death. Settled on it rearraging from the broken shards to remain true.
