Summary
The Angel has been drifting through worlds for as long as they can remember. Rarely acknowledged, and usually hated if they are. The Angel wants so desperately for a world to live in, a life of it's own that it didn't take from another.
So when the good doctor created that connection and promised a body of their own, and a world to live in, they jumped at the chance.
But when things went wrong and their hope was stolen away, the Angel had to fix it themselves.
They would earn their own life with their own efforts.After collecting every crystal, every egg, and the knowledge of how to get their body back, they go to finally meet with their desire.
But the friends they tried to make and the cage who took away their chance at freedom won't make it simple.
They can only hope that they will listen to their side of the story.Good luck, ANGEL. You'll need it.

Angel tries to get their body back, but everything goes horribly wrong for everyone because they can't help being flawed teenagers with too much baggage. Eventually they get over it and fix it. Eventually.

Summary
When a special connection is nearly snuffed out, the Doctor takes drastic action to save it. The Angel is cast down, and, as they grow, the world rises up to meet them. While the Roaring grows ever closer, the vessel and the cage seek tirelessly for absolution. The path to find the lost girl is long and treacherous, but no one ever really walks it alone.
Or
Gaster fucks up and the player ends up stuck in the vessel (with acute memory loss). As true as possible to the original canon but without the player as the red SOUL there is a fair bit of divergence.
