In the summer of 1984, brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher are packed up by their Mam and sent off to an uncle in Ireland they barely know in hopes of having a chance at an enjoyable summer. With a musician uncle. A musician uncle by the name of Rory Gallagher.
Rory Gallagher is a musician on break. Forced break. By his manager, annoyance, and little brother Dónal after health concerns are raised. Rory isn’t enjoying it. He certainly doesn’t know how he’s going to enjoy it after Dónal announces his nephews are coming. His two Mancunian nephews he barely knows.
It all collides together in one summer: the summer of 1984.
