Jessie sat at the window, watching stars through the window.
One single star looked like shining the brightest. Like the star shined for her.
She smiled.
,,Watching stars, seňorita?''
She turned her head.
He stood there, smiling widely, blue eyes fiercing with love.
She pulled him next to her.
He was confused for a bit, but his smile returned afterwards.
,,Still smiley after the ''wedding'', space man?''
Buzz almost choked after her words, trying to look away.
,,What? no..I..I mean..ehm.''
Jessie giggled.
She knew him too well for those nervous slips of the tongue.
So she held his hand. Her warm fingers curling around his plastic ones.
He turned to her, still red in face.
Then Jessie looked at the sky again.
,,Do you believe that thing Bonnie's grandmother once said?''
Buzz gave her thoughtfull look, like trying to figure out what exact moment she met.
She nudged him lightly.
,,The thing about everyone having their own star in the sky?''
Buzz noded knowingly, following her gaze.
,,Oh yes, I do remember. It's that story she told Bonnie about that girl who had her star that guided her to her love.''
Jessie squeezed Buzz's hand tighter.
,,Do you think our stars led us here? To eachother?''
Buzz looked away nervoussly, but nodded. ,,Yeah...I think so.''
Then he looked at the stars again.
,,And Woody, do you think he also has a star?''
Jessie nodded. ,,Iam sure he does. And so does Bo.''
,,I miss them both, I wish they would visit.''
Buzz squeezed her hand in return. ,,Well we still have connection with them so...why not?''
Jessie grinned. ,,Yeah but it would be way cooler if we had actuall wedding where they would be.
,,They were Jessie, altought it was just a playtime.''
Jessie giggled again. ,,You're right and Bo got that flower.''
Buzz then pulled her to him, her head touching his shoulder.
,,You think Woody's gonna ask her one day?''
Jessie nodded, emerald eyes glued to the shining sky.
,,Well when you were able to do it, why won't he?''
,,Almost Jessie, I was stuttering remember?''
,,But I kissed you which sealed it!''
They laughed.
,,Buzz, Jessie, where are ya guys? We're playing UNO! Lili would like you two there!''
Dolly shouted.
Buzz sighed.
,,Well time to go.''
Jessie nodded. ,,Yeah.''
,,Buzz?''
,,Yes?''
Jessie cupped his cheek.
,,My star shall be your star too, Lightyear and I'll protect yours to infinity and beyond.''
Buzz smiled. ,,And so will I, sherriff Jessie.''
And under moonlight with stars, they kissed.
