Summary
From the heights of Gryffindor Tower, every year at Hogwarts is an adventure, a story, and a struggle between good and evil. At the other end of the castle, in the Slytherin dungeons, there are rumours in place of stories, alliances instead of adventures, and the struggle between good and evil takes place in the drawing room over drinks.
For Theo Nott, a fascination with the witch who has curlier hair than he does and who burst into his carriage on the Hogwarts Express on the first day of first year is dangerous, inadvisable, and, according to some people (Draco and Blaise) an utterly stupid thing to have. He has no intention of letting that stop him.
This is a story of eight years of life-changing decisions, friendship against the odds, family found in unlikely places, and love, which blossoms despite every attempt to stop it.
