   Summary

   He appeared on the verge of tears and it pained her to see him like this. Liko believed in him but, even after proving himself as an ally over and over again, the doubt he possessed far outweighed her words of encouragement. More than anything, she wanted him to genuinely feel welcome here, but the solution was unclear and, Liko feared, out of reach.
