   Summary

   What is a Case Conceptualization/Clinical Character Summary?

   Case conceptualizations (or what I am calling it a “Clinical Character Study”) are used by therapists to visualize a client by combining clinical information from their biopsychosocial assessment, other reported data, and their presentation within their intake session. These have the tendency to be structured and fully identify a client's mental health struggles from a therapist’s professional view point. These conceptualizations basically explain the “why” of a person’s presentation and what interventions could be utilized while in therapy.
