Stanley didn’t know what happened, but the first thing he knew was that there was a bright ass light in his face, he groans and drapes an arm over his eyes, he frowns when he sees that there are bandages around it.
Stanley: What the………..
He slowly sits up and sees an IV in him.
Stanley: What's going on?
Then he sees the door open, a nurse walks into the room, she is surprised to see that he’s awake, he just stares at her.
Nurse: you’re awake.
Stanley: ya, i just woke up………..am i in a hospital bed?
Nurse: You don’t remember what happened?
Stanley:’puts a hand on his head’no, i don’t know what’s going on, i just woke up here, it feels like i was hit on the head, then i got thrown down a cliff, what the hell happened to me? Wait, where’s Ford? Where is he? Ford? Ford?!’tries to stand up from his bed, but the nurse stops him, he looks at her’
Nurse: sir, please don’t get up.
Stanley: I need to find my brother!
Nurse: he’ll be ok!
Stanley: And how am I supposed to know?! I just woke up here to see that my brother wasn’t here! Is he hurt?!
Nurse: well………….
Stanley: Well?!
Nurse: he’s in bad shape, he has multiple bruises on him and cuts, even a few broken bones, so he’s resting right now.
Stanley: Can I see him?
Nurse: I'm sorry, but you can’t see him, he’s currently resting and needs time alone, and you’re still injured-
Stanley: no, I have to find him!
Nurse: You were in an accident!
Stanley:..............what?
Nurse: You and your brother were in an accident, you hit your head so you were knocked out, your brother took most of the hits so that’s why he’s in such critical condition, he was protecting you…………
Stanley: ford…………
Nurse: I'll bring the doctor in.
Stanley: ok………
He is silent as the nurse walks out of the room.
Stanley:’thinks’i can’t believe this……….ford is hurt, I know that my body is mostly sore with bruises and cuts, but he actually has broken bones, and he did all of that to protect me, he shouldn't have done that for me though, now he's hurt and I can't even see him, is he even conscious right now?
Then he looks at the IV in his arm.
Stanley:’thinks’what am i going to do?
Then the doctor walks into the room.
Doctor: Stanley Pines, it’s good to see that you’re awake, and from what I've heard from the nurse, you’re worried about your brother, right?
Stanley: ya, i’m worried about him…………..
Doctor: he’s still alive, but he’s unconscious right now, so he won’t be able to have any visitors for a while.
Stanley: But when can I see him?
Doctor: I'm sorry, but I'm not sure when, he’s still resting and needs time to rest, but we’ll talk to you about it when he’s awake, i’m sorry, Mr. Pines, but you need to let your brother rest and give him some time alone.
Stanley: Well that’s bullshit!
Doctor: Mr pines, calm down.
Stanley: It feels true though! I don’t even know where he is! And I'm not even allowed to see him!
Doctor: i’ll just leave you in here.’walks out of the room’
Stanley growls and looks at his hands.
Stanley: I can't stay here…………
Then he slowly gets out of bed, he winced in pain as he grabs the IV pole, he knows he would need it, and he didn’t want ford to yell at him, then he walks out of the room and walks down the hallway, he quickly hides when he hears two nurses walk by, and luckily, they didn’t see him, but they were talking about him and ford.
Nurse 2: those poor twin brothers……….
Nurse 1: ya, one of them has broken bones.
Nurse 2: Isn't he the one in room 203?
Nurse 1: ya, he’s in there because he needs special care, I heard he was protecting his brother from what happened.
Then they walk away as Stanley smirks.
Stanley:’thinks’so that’s where ford is, i’m on the first floor due to me having minor injuries, so i’ll need to go to the second floor.
Then he sees an elevator and walks into it, he quickly presses a button and the doors close, and soon, he is taken to the second floor.
Stanley:’walks out of the elevator’
He starts to walk down the hallway and looks at the numbers.
Stanley 200…………201…….202-ah! 203!
Then he slowly opens the door and softens up seeing ford laying on the bed, stanley frowns, ford had on a breathing mask.
Stanley:’walks towards him’
Ford:’unconscious’
Stanley: ford………
Then he sits down on a chair, he looks at him.
Stanley: hey ford, i’m here, sorry i took so long to get here, but thanks to you, none of my bones were broken, but i’m the reason why you were protecting me rather than protecting yourself, and why you’re in this state……..i hope you can forgive me for this, i promise to make it up to you, i promise.
Ford:’stirs’
Stanley: Ford?
Ford:’slowly opens his eyes’stanley?
Stanley: Hey Sixer, it’s ok, we’re in the hospital right now, but don’t worry, everything is under control, we’re still alive.
Ford:’smiles at him’
Stanley: sorry for causing you to have broken bones, ford, but you didn’t have to protect me, i can handle it.
Ford: But I wanted to, I wanted to protect you.
Stanley: And you call me crazy.
Ford: That's because you are.
Stanley: It's not my fault I got arrested more than once! And had to have different identities, but we’re on a boat now.
Ford: We were on a boat.
Stanley: True, but probably for our saying we should go back to gravity falls, I know for sure that everyone is probably worried about us and we can be on the boat with these kinds of injuries, especially you because you have broken bones.
Ford: That is a pretty fair point.
Stanley: Good to know I don't need to fight you to rest.
Ford: And why would you fight me? You know very well that's just going to make my injuries worse, and you know it.
Stanley: Well you don't need to use logic on me.
Ford:’laughs’
Stanley:’smiles at him’
Doctor: where did he go?!
Stanley: I guess they found out I'm missing.
Ford: Stanley.
Stankey: Well, they told me I couldn't see you yet, so……..
Ford:’sighs and shakes his head’
