Summary
Jongho had long made peace with the idea that he'd never present, that he'd be the only member of Ateez with no sub-gender designation. It was fine, really. At this point he was too old to expect such a thing to happen, and despite the vague emptiness he often felt when he saw his friends lounging in the pack nest or scenting each other or sneaking off to pleasure each other, he insisted in his mind that he was fine. Everything was fine. It didn't hurt at all.
But then one day when he feels the start of some sort of cold inching into his system, Seonghwa tells him that he's getting a scent. That's not supposed to happen. So maybe he will present after all, but that means he needs to navigate doing so when he wants to be with his friends more than anything. He's glad to find that his friends are more than happy to lead him through such a confusing time.
