Both of Mike's arms wrap firmly around Will's waist, pulling him entirely flush against his own body. "No… Not really."
Will rises up slightly on his toes, wrapping his arms around Mike and resting his chin over his shoulder until he can feel the fast thump of Mike's heartbeat pounding against his own chest.
Mike shudders. His grip on Will's waist tightens, and he turns his head, his nose brushing against the sensitive skin right below Will's ear.
"I don't think I'd ever get close enough to you."
Or: Will is convinced that moving away for college will starve out his feelings. Instead, it just results in Mike booking a weekend trip to finally close the distance—in every sense of the word.
