She sees him again. The man from the bar, this time at the bus stop. The one she takes when she’s running late for work. He doesn’t notice her and she pretends to not notice him, passing briskly on the sidewalk and continuing on her way.
They are two separate lines that happen to have a point of intersection. That’s it. That’s all it is, all it ever will be.
