   Summary

The campaign ends. Gwayne Hightower returns to Oldtown expecting to resume the life he has left behind: his husband, his household, and the son born in his absence.

Everyone believes the Hightowers were everything a noble family ought to be. No one thinks to ask whether they are happy.

   OR

A neglectful husband. A frustrated knight. An infuriatingly handsome master-at-arms.
