Spongs was always selfish in bed, always chasing his own pleasure and being rough without a care for his partner. But that's how Tai liked it. Tai loved his big dick that always managed to hit his prostate and feeling his body mindlessly get used. And honestly, no one could fuck him like spongs did, no matter what he thought of spongs. He was a good lay, and that was it.
Is what Tai kept telling himself when spongs kissed his neck out of nowhere in public, called him stupid pet names while they were hanging out together and generally treated Tai like they were dating. Tai had never agreed to this. He never had any intention of dating spongs of all people. He was a good lay, that was all he was.
So why did he let it happen? Why didnt Tai push spongs off when he hugged him from behind to suprise him, greeting him with a kiss to his cheek. When he would randomly run his big hands over tais curls, petting his head. Or when he would randomly kiss his forehead or neck.
What even were they, really? Fuck buddies? Tai thought that friends with benefits or whatever they were didnt do this stuff that they did. Or, spongs did to Tai. Tai didnt remember a single time he reincorporated spongs actions, but he always let it happen, so what did that make them.
Tai would never call anyone his partner without a proper talk about their relationship, something that tai and spongs definitely haven't done before.
Tai was getting ridiculously hungry, he hadn't ate anything today and it was already afternoon, he should have a few bites. He got up from the couch he was sitting on, an Airbnb couch a friend of theirs had rented, and went over to the kitchen. But unfortunately nothing seemed appetizing, he wouldn't eat the leftovers that were inside the fridge, he didnt want to eat fruits or anything, and there wasnt any snacks for him to eat. So he settled on just having a soda to fill his stomach and then maybe ordering food. He took a few sips of his soda, and set it down on the counter, took his phone out his pocket, forgetting he was gonna order food and starting to scroll Instagram reels.
And soon enough, he felt a head on his shoulder and a kiss to his neck. "Whatcha doing?" Spongs said as he wrapped his arms around Tais midsection.
Of course spongs found his way to Tai. They barely had any alone time living in an Airbnb with loads of other people, so spongs took every little opportunity he could to be as affectionate with Tai as he could while still keeping it private.
But spongs wasnt being affectionate with Tai because he loved him or anything of course, immediately afterwards, for the past three days, spongs would always find a way to convince Tai to a quick fuck. Inside the bathroom, over the kitchen counter while no one was home, in spongs' bedroom. It always lead to sex, Tai wasnt complaining of course, but he thought the coercion and the kisses were a bit too much. Spongs could always just ask like a normal person.
Tai knew what was coming now, since the same pattern repeated for the past three days anyways. Hugs and kisses, and soon enough he would be bent over somewhere with the risk of being caught and fucked well. He wasnt complaining, Spongs was a good lay after all.
"Just looking through my phone, what brings you here?" Tai asked even though he already knew the answer. Spongs was here because he wanted to fuck Tai, duh. It wasnt like spongs was going to come to him for quality-time and cuddles. Spongs buried his face in tais neck and took a deep sniff before speaking. Was he smelling Tais new cologne? Tai hope spongs liked it.
"Just wanted to see you.." Spongs said, his voice muffled from his mouth burried in Tais neck. He raised his head to start kissing all over Tais neck, making him giggle. Tai was sensitive and tickled all over his body. But this wasnt enough to distract Tai from the thought that soon enough spongs would start grinding agaisnt him and they would fuck like rabbits. He was sore from yesterday, was kinda tired and lacked any energy to do anything today for some reason.
"Hm, really? I dont want to waste your time so I'll just say it right now, im not in the mood today, sorry." Tai set his phone down on the counter and turned his head to face spongs, their noses touching from this angle. Spongs looked a little confused at first before understanding and replying.
"For sex? Thats fine, I dont mind." Spongs said quietly into tais ear before kissing his nose and under his eye.
Tai was confused. He was expecting Spongs to be disappointed and leave, not continue being so loving towards him. Not that Tai was bothered, he has always liked affection, not getting enough of it while growing up, so he just let spongs be. He let spongs press his chest to Tais back, let him kiss all over Tais face, let him bury his face into tais collarbone and just rest his head there with his eyes closed.
Oh wait, Spongs was definitely doing all this to slowly coerce tai into having sex with him. First act understanding, and then being good all day and begging for it at night. Tai wasnt stupid, he had caught onto Spongs little scheme.
"What are you doing? I said im not in the mood, we aren't fucking tonight no matter how many times you kiss me." Tai spoke, his words set in stone. He could be authoritative when the time called. Spongs took a couple more seconds just breathing in Tai and almost laying on him before raising his head and speaking.
"Yeah, I heard you the first time. Thats fine. I've been out all day, didnt you miss me even a little? I'm tired too... let's go to bed." Spongs muttered. And honestly Tai was tired too, taking an afternoon nap didnt sound all that bad. So for once, he choose to believe spongs and took his hand, leading them to Tais bedroom.
Spongs was a little startled suddenly moving but he wasnt complaining after he saw where they were going. He was tired and some cuddles sounded amazing. Tai immediately let go of spongs hand when they reached the bedroom, but spongs didnt let go.
They were both dressed in their outside clothes but that didnt matter to them. They took off their shoes before getting in bed, Tai laying on the right side of the bed facing the wall while spongs took the left side, facing the door.
They just laid there like that for a minute or two before spongs turned tai around to make the other face him, and then buried Tais face in his chest, hugging and spooning him. Tai obviously hugged back, because what else was he supposed to do. He was still a little confused on why they were cuddling like this when there wasnt any sex involved, but he let it happen, because it felt nice.
Spongs held him close, cuddling him and kissed his head like a loving boyfriend would do. Yet, they weren't together. So why? Why the fuck was spongs doing this? This time, tai wasnt going to just let it slide because it was mutually beneficial. He always understood spongs cleaning him up and cuddling him after sex, since that was just basic aftercare, tai supposed. But why was spongs being affectionate towards him no strings attached?
Tai suddenly pushed spongs off and sat up, looking down at spongs. Spongs remained laid where he was on the bed, looking up at Tai.
"What are you doing."
"I'm.. we were cuddling?"
"Why were you cuddling me?"
"What? Because I want to?"
"I mean like, why me."
"Because you're my boyfriend, duh."
What? Boyfriend? He didnt remember getting together with spongs. Hell, he barely saw spongs as a friend, let alone a boyfriend. Boyfriend? Since when they were dating? Spongs must be real lonely to think every person he casually fucked was dating him. What even made spongs get such a ridiculous idea? Cuddling and kissing and having sex and dates and pet names and whatever none of those equaled to love! This was getting more ridiculous the more Tai kept thinking about it. It's not like after they started hooking up there was a huge switch in attitude, spongs still teased him, made fun of him, and humiliated him, just with more kisses and hugs for apologies instead of anything else.
Tai... didnt even remember when all this had started happening. The first time they had sex was last vidcon, and slowly they started meeting up just for intercourse, and then sometimes they met up only to hang out with eachother and whatever else. For how long did spongs think they were dating for? Did he think all of those hangouts were dates? How stupid was he!?
"Tai, you look bewildered, Is this some silly prank? Im sleepy, come back. You can do this later." Spongs opened up his arms for Tai to get in and snuggle agaisnt him, looking a bit annoyed at Tais sudden antics.
So what? Was he just supposed to accept he was dating spongs now? But... if he did make peace with the fact, what would change? They already do everything a couple does. But like, dating spongs? Of all people? Was his dick really that hypnotizing it made tai suddenly start dating spongs? Spongs... looked annoyed. And tai didnt like it when spongs got in a bad mood. Was he really going to ruin this perfectly fine afternoon by pushing this matter?
Honestly, tai would prefer a real date, with a real proposal on if tai wanted to date spongs or not. But they were way past that point. Tai probably should just get back in bed... he can think about this later.
"Yeah, uh, sorry. I guess that wasnt really funny." Tai tried playing it off as a joke, and laid down on top of spongs chest. Spongs gave him a suspicious look before speaking.
"You're just joking right? There's no way you weren't aware of us, yknow, dating?" Spongs lifted tais face up by his chin to make them keep eye contact.
Tai now felt stupid, really really stupid. And he could not let spongs know he wasnt aware this whole time, or he would get bullied for eternity. He needed to play it off good. "Of course I was just joking... Just go to sleep." Tai rolled his eyes and muttered.
Spongs smiled hearing tais words and pulled him in for a kiss, a slow lazy make out session before sleep. Tai of course, kissed back. Because he was supposed to kiss his boyfriend, thats what people who were dating did.
After a while of slobbering into each other's mouths and fucking with their tounges, spongs pulled tai away and panted to get his breathing steady before speaking.
"Hmmm, I love you, Tai. Sleep well." Spongs burried tais face in his chest and placed one last kiss on top of his head after he spoke. Tai wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and adjusted to be able to breathe before also speaking.
"Yeah, I love you too."
