On Monster Island, Two Earth Defenders were allowed to train there for a day by their close friend, Godzilla as the World Class Tournament would arrive in a week.
“YEAAAH!!!”
Anguirus rushes in towards Gorosaurus as Goro does the same. Once reaching each other, Gorosaurus suddenly swings up a high kick. Anguirus ducks down, avoiding Goro’s kick as he performs a tackle, bringing Gorosaurus down to the ground. Anguirus then immediately mounts Goro as he begins to hammer down blows upon Gorosaurus as the first blow landed against Gorosaurus’s face while Goro blocks against the rest.
“Tch!”
Soon after Gorosaurus manages to get Anguirus off of him as he shoves him away. But as soon as Gorosaurus manages to get back up, Anguirus is already upon him, unleashing a relentless barrage of blows. Gorosaurus is forced to continue blocking against Anguirus’s ferocious strikes.
“YAAAH!!”
Anguirus swings up a body kick as it causes Gorosaurus to grit his teeth.
“(Come on Goro! I am on fire right now!!)”
Anguirus continues his ferocious barrage of blows until Anguirus attempts to trio up Gorosaurus as he swings a leg kick upon Goro’s right leg. Gorosaurus allows to begin to fall but he swiftly stops his fall with one of his arms and turns his body to swing up kick at Anguirus.
“!?”
Anguirus barely manage to avoid the kick as it manages to make him, gain a bit of distance back from Gorosaurus. Using this to his advantage, Goro quickly gets back up as he then rushes in towards Anguirus. Gorosaurus swings straight body kick into Anguirus. Even blocking against it, the kick still managed to push Anguirus back a bit as Anguirus winces a bit. But Anguirus continues to grin ear to ear as Goro returns a smirk towards him.
Both then rush at each other again as Anguirus suddenly leaps up to deliver a flying knee. Gorosaurus blocks against it but then immediately feels the top of his head being struck by an elbow from Anguirus.
“!”
As soon as he lands back onto his feet, Anguirus begins delivering another ferocious barrage of blows upon Gorosaurus. Only now Gorosaurus was unable to defend himself properly as he found himself getting pummeled back by Anguirus.
“(If this keeps up.)”
Gorosaurus suddenly decides to take a risk. As Anguirus was moving in to land a body blow upon Goro, Gorosaurus swings his head forward as he manages to land a headbutt upon Anguirus. While it did manage to make Anguirus stumble a couple steps back, it seemingly did more damage to Gorosaurus than it did to Anguirus as he grumbles from experiencing a headache as he rubs his head.
“Nrgh…” “You idiot. Did you forget that my head is the most durable out of us three!?”
Anguirus bonks his fist against his own forehead.
“Perhaps a little reminder is needed!”
Anguirus rushes in but is suddenly stopped in his tracks as Gorosaurus counters with a sweeping body kick.
“!!” “Did you forget my kicks can best your durable body?”
Gorosaurus then immediately follows up with hook as it causes Anguirus to stumble back a step. But Anguirus then responds back by swinging a punch into Goro’s face.
“YAH! I am on fire!!” “Ngh…”
Gorosaurus stumbles back a bit.
“Here is your little reminder, Goro!!!”
Anguirus begins to move in as he prepares to land his signature headbutt but unexpectedly to Anguirus, Gorosaurus swings up a kick towards Anguirus’s face. Both of attacks land into each other as it causes a loud bash to be heard.
Anguirus flies back onto his back as blood spurted out while Gorosaurus felt the bones in his ankle rattled and have potentially cracked a bit from the clash against Anguirus’s headbutt. Goro then falls back upon his rear.
“Ngh… Consider this my ‘win’ for now.”
Anguirus was still conscious as he was panting then grins once more.
“Fine. But if we face each other in the Tournament, I will not fall to any of your kicks!” “Hmhm… Sure. I will look forward to that.”
Godzilla was watching from afar as he very briefly smirks before walking away to find Mothra.
“Hmph.”
