“It wasn’t hard.” He laughed, “I mean, honestly. You’re really bad at sensing when people are following you, you know?”
Nakamura’s eyes blew wide. He felt a chill run down his spine. “W-what the hell are you talking about?”
“I mean that every single weekend, at around 2:30PM, you like to get out of your house to buy a canned coffee from the vending machine at the local library. Then you sit at the table at the far corner, and read manga all by yourself.” Matsumura leaned closer, slotting one knee between Nakamura’s legs. “Did you know you’ve been to that library exactly eleven times since the birthday party? Oh, and also, you usually read manga at a rate of three to five chapters per hour. You must really like taking everything in when you try new things, don’t you? Right Nakamura?”
Matsumura, in a drunket stupor, spirals and realizes that Hirose will never love him. Thankfully, someone swooped in to fill that void, and he's been obsessed since.
