Summary
I’ve been looking forward to this moment for four years.
For a variety of reasons, as well. Getting my feet back on solid ground. Being able to walk around properly. Having company, new actual sentient lifeforms other than Rocky to have conversations with (Armando and Mary don't count).
But also seeing Rocky happy. Back with his mate, who he has basically not shut up about for the last two months, and various friends. Back on his home planet, that he spent 46 years alone thinking he would never see again. And that’s without the time spent with me on the Hail Mary, or the time travelling to Tau Ceti with his crew.
You see, I have been excited about being somewhere new that isn't the spaceship. Rocky was excited about being home, on a planet with his own species, and most importantly, with his mate.
That was two weeks ago, when we first landed.
Since then, the only way I can describe it is that things have gone totally and entirely to shit.

Grace and Rocky arrive back on Erid, and for the most part, things seem to be okay... until Rocky discovers that Adrian has another mate.
