The room was light and probably quite pretty, but Nyx was focused on making sure it was secure, which was the most important quality in a room anyone under his charge was about to enter. Libertus obviously felt the same way, which is why Nyx's radio wasn't buzzing with questions about what he thought he was doing taking so long.
Finally satisfied that the place was not hiding a bomb or anti-magic device or even a secret stash of forbidden allergens, Nyx threw the pillows back on the couch and straightened the chairs.
A quiet "ahem" stopped him before he reached the door, and he peeked sheepishly back over his shoulder to find Princess Lunafreya arching her eyebrows at him, face mock-stern. Gentiana at her shoulder was what Nyx was coming to learn was her usual inscrutable self, but something about her posture made him think she was also amused.
"Yes, your highness?" Nyx asked with a salute that was parade-ground perfect and get him yelled at by any Lucian drill sergant for delivering in this context.
The princess stared pointedly at the couch cushions which were, admittedly, a little haphazardly arranged after Nyx's search for Niflheim tricks. He trudged back over to them and turned and tugged them until they looked as lifeless as a magazine and finally recieved an official nod for his efforts, though the twinkle in her eye at the ridiculous game was his true prize.
Everyone satisfied with the state of the room, Nyx finally placed his hand on the door and welcomed his charge into the Tenebraenne Princess's solar.
"Oracle Princess Lady Lunafreya, may I present to you your bride to be, Princess Crowe Lucis Caelum."
Crowe stepped on his foot as she walked by, but her grin was totally worth it.
