Summary
What begins as a simple attempt to get to know each other soon turns into a series of chance encounters, heated arguments, and far too much forced proximity. Andrea Sachs and Emily Charlton quickly go from reluctant acquaintances to bitter enemies, each seemingly capable of bringing out the absolute worst in the other.
Years later, their paths cross again when Andrea accepts a position at Emily’s family business, forcing them to work side by side. Old grudges resurface, tempers flare, and the line between hatred and attraction becomes increasingly difficult to distinguish. As rivalry gives way to reluctant understanding, and something far more dangerous, Andrea and Emily may discover that the person they find most irritating is also the one they find impossible to resist.
