Ilya Rozanov, COACH. Characterised as tough love, occasionally bad jokes, fun but serious when he feels like it.
Shane Hollander, COACH. Very locked in at hockey, literally no fun in his sessions. However, off ice he’s a great coach for love. He keeps the players winning.
Players:
Aria: WINGER. Shane and Ilyas daughter. She’s the average teenage girl, she takes after Shane’s intensive love for hockey, and is implied high functioning autistic. She also goes through Ilya’s depressive episodes at times aswell. She is very good at hockey, but not captain. She is the winger, and main at scoring goals. I take her character partially from Riley from inside out, in how her whole life is hockey but she leaves space for others, and shuts out her parents a lot of the time. She is a dark blonde with freckles and wavy hair. She speaks minimal French and Russian.
Sophie: DEFENSE. Arias girlfriend. I see this as the fanon name for her gf, so here she is. Shes a defensemen, and very good at hockey too, but slightly less than aria. She is open and extroverted, but not bubbly in a sense. Her character takes after Ilya in the mystery. She is mixed from south-east Asia and France. She also has wavy hair, but surprisingly light eyes which contrast her darker skin.
Molly: !CAPTAIN! centre. She is crazy on the ice, with insane stamina. She can literally sense when to shoot behind her. She is a massive flirt, and very fun, kind and bubbly. She keeps the team friendly, and keeps everyone motivated alongside. Sort of taking after Hayden and shane, everybody on the team has a little crush on her, but only platonically. She is tanned with blonde hair and blue eyes, freckles and curly hair. She is short but with big muscles. Big chirper.
Raffi: GOALKEEPER. Obviously, she has very fast reaction time. You can literally throw a puck at her while she’s eating and she’ll catch it. Raffi is a presence, as in you know when she enters a room. She has brown curly/wavy hair, freckles and blue eyes. She is mollys best friend. She is an ambivert, but mostly an extrovert, and while she takes Molly’s kindness, she is a bit mean at times. Does most of the team’s planning.
Naomi: WINGER. She is the fastest, sleekest in the team. Literally weaves in between players like crazy. When she goes for a shot, she doesn’t miss - but she doesn’t go for them often. She’s pretty quiet, but you could categorise her under the ‘chill’ mean girl. Savage chirping and across the ice before whoever she’s talking to can even register what she said. She is brunette with grey eyes and from an East Asian country and a scandi country.
Rose: DEFENSE - but often has to come into other positions. Loves talking about hockey and she is extremely motivated by the idea of being the best. She is kind, but only because she has to be. Her stick work is INSANE, could probably paint the Mona Lisa with it if she wanted. Synergy with the team is pretty good, as she knows where to go and when. She is ginger with brown eyes and freckles, but not completely pale.
EXTRA NOTES!
Naomi and aria have a slight rivalry, always trying to fight in their own ways. It’s not enough to get either kicked off the team, but it’s clear they aren’t best friends.
Raffi and molly are in a slight situationship. Like they’ll get drunk and makeout but then never talk about it.
Sophie and aria are together, but nobody on the team likes or dislikes it. If mentioned, they’d probably say “it’s cute,” and move on.
Rose is the ‘friend to all but to none’ type. She is amazing at the sport, and keeps the team winning, but struggles to see the appreciation.
