A month after Vox’s failed takeover of Heaven, Alastor asks him to meet at their old rendezvous.

Vox tells himself he only wants to find out what Alastor is up to, and thwart his plans. Alastor thinks he only wants to take advantage of Vox’s obsession with him.
They both get more than they bargained for.
