SLAM!
The sound of the blonde slamming her door shut thundered throughout the house. That probably was the loudest sound Lux ever produced. But she didn't care if there were more shouts coming from the main house.
Next she rolled her wheelchair up to her bed, before standing up way too quickly. The motion pushed her chair away and it with her bags slammed against her desk, before falling over.
Now she stood here wobbly in front of her bad, supporting herself on the bars attached to her head.
She was too angry to care about her chair falling over, about her almost breaking her legs…again. She just went for the rings hanging above her bed, and pulled herself up. Then she just let go, falling down into her mattress face first into her pillow.
Thump!
"MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMH!!!" into which she proceeded so scream.
She's had enough of this. Enough of this day, enough of herself, enough of everyone judging her.
It was such a stupid idea taking on that dare of the blue-haired devil.
Her becoming a drummer? Ridiculous. Ekko was right, she doesn't have the talent nor the body to do so. She knew he didn't mean it as an insult, but as a matter of fact. No matter how right he was, it still hurt.
Jinx probably knew it better than Ekko, and that let her down the most. She was just out to hurt her, and mess with her again.
Just a prank, that's all she was.
It wasn't even worth taking the risk staying out late. She's a grown-ass-woman, but her parents still tell her to be home by nine. It's "dangerous" outside.
Eventually her voice let out, and she had to come back up for air. Her energy was spent. Now she was just lying here on her stomach in her bed.
No footsteps in the hallway, questioning what she was doing. Just the sound of the rain pattering against her window, and the occasional distant thunder.
Not many do, but Lux likes the rain. She likes the soft rustling creating a peaceful atmosphere, and how it makes her cage a little bit more cosy.
But mostly she likes it for when the sun breaks through the clouds, and together with the rain creates a rainbow.
At least the day is over, all she has to do is fall asleep and forget about it all. Any second now…
Click…
Suddenly there was a faint noise coming from the window. But Lux ignored it. Could just be the wind rattling the walls.
Click clack…
There it was again. It sounded to regular to be just the wind.
Before the blonde could look up to find the origins of the sound, her window squeaked. The rain suddenly became louder, and a cold gust of wind hit her back.
Someone just broke into her window.
A burglar now of all days?!
In her panic Lux made a grab for the next plushy in her bed, and hid behind it. She could see a silhouette standing in the middle of her room, but she couldn't make out any features in the dark.
Mustering up the last bit of courage she had, she blurted out, "Who-who's th-there?"
Then two pink glowing dots stared back. She knew who those belong too.
"Heya, Hotwheels," said none other than Jinx. The girl who got her into trouble in the first place.
"Jinx?!" Lux yelled, before covering her mouth, hoping she was not too loud for her parents to hear. But quickly she continued to whisper-yell, "What the fuck are you doing here?!"
In the same moment Lux turned on the light. Jinx had to flinch, but quickly adjusted, and started looking around at the room she found herself in, the hard floor, the wooden furniture with embellished golden edges. "Oh you know Hotwheels, doing my rounds. So nice outside thought I'd check in on the band…"
Looking outside at the still open and now wet window, Lux turned back to Jinx her plush relaxing into her lap. "Nice, Outside?" She murmured almost in disbelief, still getting her head around the fact this soggy cat of a girl was now bobbing from one side to the other.
"Er yeah, like never just gone out in the rain, played in the mud, remove the roof on cupcraps convertible." Jinx babbled on clearly as if all this was the most normal thing to do.
But normal was not what any of this was, normal always seemed to be something that never happened for Lux, and right now still happy and somewhat obsessivly chatting away was Jinx, in her room, her sanctuary.
Lux felt the grip on her plushy suddenly strengthen, a bubbling anger deep down growing.
Smack!
"Arghhh, hey what was that for" Jinx flinched back having the plush just smack her in the face, "seriously who throws a plushy?"
"What was that for! What are you for! Why are you in my room!" Lux hissed out, she was still trying to keep the noise down but by now she was breathing heavy her chest falling and rising.
Jinx tilted her head, her eyes wide like a confused creature "didn't I say, doing the rounds on the band members"
"Right, think I am gullible enough to believe your BS, again?" Lux spat out the words, while crossing her arms, "I heard what you really think of me!"
There it was, out in the open. The reason Lux was so angry, so disappointed. For a brief moment in her life, she wasn't just the disabled kid, and Jinx was the reason for it. It happened only moment before her heart was ripped out of her chest and trampled on.
Surprising Lux Jinx took a step back with an apologetic look on her face.
The words took Jinx back a little, averting her gaze from the furious blonde in front of her. She almost looked apologetic. "Your not a prank!" The words were quiet, almost inaudible. Worst of all they sounded genuine.
"That's not what you said earlier," Lux replied. She won't just let that sentence stand in the open like that without an answer.
"I wasn't talking about you." Jinx left those words hanging again with a long drawn out sigh.
Then Lux wanted to ask a dangerous question. It would open her up to be hurt again. She almost didn't think it was worth the risk. But the things she felt today, she thought were impossible for her to achieve. If there could be even a fraction of a chance to feel those things again…
"Okay, then what am I?" Lux asked tentatively, and actually confused. There was something that didn't add up, "Why are you so obsessed with dragging me back into your antics?"
"Your eyes" Jinx now looking directly at Lux spoke, it was soft. Not the chaos Jinx normally was, just a soft honestly.
Lux froze, her heart for it's wild beating and burning fury suddenly stopped, and all of a sudden her entire skin felt like it was on fire. "What?"
"What?" Jinx Immediately responded, straightening up like she didn't expect the words that had come out her own mouth before.
There was a pause, a silence falling between them, only the sound of thunder and further rain from outside filling the room.
Before Lux could ask again about what she meant, Jinx interrupted the silence, "Heh, my bad Hotwheels forgot to close the window lemme get it"
Lux watches as Jinx squelched her way back over to the window only really noticing now just how dripping wet the bluenette in her room was and how her the white tank top and shorts had become. It was the same outfit she wore all day, but it had a different feel now. Especially the top which became see-through, and Lux could see the back of Jinx's black bra from this angle, and the tapestry of cloud tattoos going down her side. She wondered what it is like to trace them with her fingers.
No, no, bad thoughts, get them out!
After closing the window Jinx kept on moving throughout the room, finding the tipped over wheelchair.
"Urgh," groaned Lux shaking herself back to reality reached up and grabbed one of her support rings dangling down over her bed, pulling herself upwards with one arm and sliding herself to the edge of the bed with the other.
"Woah woah wait, no need to get-" Jinx panicked. She knew Lux could walk in theory, but she has never witnessed it.
"I can do this myself!" Lux cut her off, letting her feet touch the floor gently, she pulled and pushed herself up. Slowly she took steps towards the chair, they weren't wobbly or shaky just slow, methodical steps. Jinx could only watch as Lux pulled her wheelchair upright.
Then she looked back at Jinx. The silence between them only disturbed by Jinx's hair dripping.
"You're drenched," Lux deadpanned.
A wicked grin found itself on the bluenette, "Aww, Hotwheels worried this cat might catch a cold?"
"No!" Jinx found herself fixed in place by an intense glare, her face close to Jinx's now and her displeasure was clearly noticeable. It was a glare that sent shivers up most spine. "You're making a mess on my nice floor. It could become a slipping hazard."
Jinx looked down at the mess she had made. "Oh… er yeah about that heh um. Gotta mop?"
"Wetroom now!" Lux demanded pointing across her bedroom to an open dark doorway.
Jinx sniggered "Heh, wet room, really Blondie? Need to call over the butler to start the shower."
Lux's stare didn't falter at all instead her growl got deeper, "Now." She demanded.
"Fine fine, jeez I'm going," Jinx rolling her eyes relented and began her way to the other room. "Didn't even buy me dinner first," she joked on her way.
Sighing loudly Lux followed, hesitating briefly before walking over the wet patches Jinx has left behind, subconsciously reaching out and grabbing the side of a chest of draws to steady herself as she made her way to follow Jinx into the wetroom.
Jinx was already inside, seemingly not bothered by the dark. Still, when Lux entered too, she hit the light switch. Clinically white light blinked to life revealing the full room. Jinx took it as a cue to make herself at home and wandering around taking it all in, the room was square, with a toilet on one side with a bar to help raise and lower oneself a low sink and mirror and a cupboard. On the other corner a big oversized showerhead with rails on one wall and a fold out seat on the other.
Suddenly Jinx could hear some rustling sounds behind her. Turning around she found Lux had pulled out a different chair out that was kept hidden behind the door and sat down in it, wheeling herself over to Jinx.
Noticing the difference in the chair Jinx arched a brow, "New ride Blondie?" It was more a question than anything else.
"It can get wet, I'd rather not rust my daily," Lux countered, her tone still a little frustrated.
"Ahh makes sense, but why would it get wet, ain't I hear to get dry" Jinx confused folded her arms.
Lux made a loud groan in responds, and wheeled herself over to the sink. Next she opened the cupboard below, and pulled something out. Within a second it was thrown at Jinx's face.
"Sheesh, am I your targeting dummy now?" Jinx asked.
"Just dry yourself." she answered frustrated, before going back to her bedroom, leaving the bathroom chair behind.
Back in her room, she could still hear the rain outside. There was a flash of light, and a few seconds later it was followed by a low thunder.
She found herself ending up in her day-to-day wheelchair, looking out. Besides the lightning it was pitch-black outside.
"What am I doing?" she murmured the question. Of all people she had Jinx, in her bathroom, showing up in the middle of the night. Looking outside, she couldn't believe she considered letting her stay.
"Alright Hotwheels, Jinx is fully dry."
Following the voice Lux's head jumped back to the doorway. There she found Jinx, poking into her own ear, with her hair loose. She's never seen the bluenette without her signature braids. Only now can she see how vast her hair was, like a waterfall going down her back. It made her look like a character out of a fairy tale.
Ba-dump!
Heat was rising in her chest. Quickly though she pushed down that feeling. She can't have this right now, not again. She's supposed to ask a question.
"How long are you going to stay?"
"How long are you going to mope?"
The answer came immediate. Lux didn't have an reply, she didn't want to reply. Why did it have to be Jinx of all people. She looked back outside into the dark rain.
Clever girl. She knew Lux couldn't send her home in that weather.
"You really did not plan this ahead…" she sighed. Perhaps this was exactly her plan. Then got out of her chair, and slowly walked over to her bed. Taking it step by step.
"I mean err… kinda…"
Figures. Jinx is a creature of impulsion. Just the first thing that comes to her mind she does. Apparently that was bothering Lux was her first thought right now.
At this point Lux was leaning on the railing of her bed. "Fine… stay until the weather calms down," she said frustrated, her knuckles clutching the metal bar tightly. Then she turned to face Jinx, "But stick to yourself. I had a really bad fucking day, and I don't need you keeping me awake."
She needed rest, her joints needed rest. She overdid it today, and she can't play babysitter for this monkey.
Jinx rolled her eyes but couldn't quite hide the smirk forming on her face, "Fine, fine. Oh can I try your chair. Ever try pop a wheelie, you have haven't you," she excitedly proclaimed bouncing over before flopping down and immediately grabbing the wheels and leaning back.
"Get… off…!" Lux growled, staring daggers through Jinx as furiously as she could which only caused a chuckle from the bluenette on her chain.
"Make me!" Jinx purred back, but before Lux could even take a single step towards her, Jinx gestured around the room. Causing Lux to realize that there were no other chairs in sight, and unless Lux wished to have Jinx sit in her wetroom. There wasn't exactly any other option. Well maybe one but Lux wasn't offering that.
At least her glare provoked the reaction she wanted. Jinx knew how high on Lux's shitlist she was right now. Good.
Now she can finally just hoist herself up into her bed, and try to sleep. She could only hope Jinx will stop bothering her now-
Suddenly and for the second time that evening, her chair crashed backwards. At first Lux thought Jinx had wheelied herself too far and fallen off but when she turned round, Jinx was inches away, staring up at her hands.
"What?" Lux said tentatively.
"Damn, how did I not notice this earlier. But your bed is hella cool," she just started to squeal, "You got an entire Jungle Gym up there!" She obviously motioned to the rings hanging from the ceiling, Lux uses to move around.
"What?" she asked again, now sounding worried.
Before Lux could stop her, Jinx just entered the safety of her bed without asking, and made a grab for the other ring. It happened so fast Lux jumped back onto her bed, leaving the Bluenette to her own devices.
"Wahahahaha," she laughed, "Ah this is much better than a race car bed!"
"Jinx! Keep your voice down!" Lux protested, trying to put her hand over Jinx's mouth, But Jinx just dodged her by swinging away.
"Dammit Jinx, that's serious medical equipment! Not a playground!"
"Aww, come on, can't you see how much fun this is!" The monkey just swung her body back and forth on one ring, before doing a little twirl and jumping onto the other.
"You could break something!" Lux just prayed her family really overdid it with their installation so that a truck could be hung from her ceiling with no problem.
Jinx came back for another swing, this time she hung upside down from her feet like a real monkey. Her hair just swung behind her enveloping the entire bed.
"Blelelelele!" Jinx stuck out her tongue and made a face at Lux on her swing-by.
"Arrgh Jinx!" Lux groaned. So much for being left alone, "Stop it!
"Aww if you wanna be boring again, why don't you stay down there," taunted Jinx, "Or be fun, and come up here and catch me!"
This taunting and catching went back and forth for a while. Lux considered just tearing Jinx down by her hair. But deep inside she realized how silly this situation is. She was alone with Jinx in her room, who broke in during a thunderstorm, and is now treating her medical equipment with any lack of respect.
This was supposed to be just medical equipment, just there to serve a function, and despite that Jinx appropriated it for something Lux only dreamed of as a child.
"I can't Jinx you know I can't" Lux protested looking away, it hurt. She tried to hide it deep down but everything inside her was an boring her down, unable to move forward.
"Oh come on Hotwheels." Jinx continued, with a wicked grin. "Dare you"
"Because that went so well the last time!" Lux snapped back, her fingers tightly clenching into balled fists. Why did Jinx keep doing this, pushing her, why couldn't she just leave her alone.
But Jinx's manic grin softened, almost into a gentle careful look, "but you had fun right?"
The words hit Lux, like a hammer blow at the walls she had always raised around her, and she snapped her gaze up the the still suspended Jinx, seeing the bluenette's searching expression, how her words came out so fragile, scared almost. It was almost pleading, like how one reaches out to a scared animal. Or more accurately how a scared animal reaches out for another.
But most of all it was genuine, devoid of all the teasing the bravado, and deep down Lux did have fun, she did let loose more so than she had in years. It seemed Jinx had seen that. Jinx had seen her.
"God dammit, I hate you," said Lux while trying to pout, instead a smile slipped through the cracks.. She knew she was just being goaded, but she couldn't resist.
Next her she pulled herself up on one of her rings. She hasn't done an intense workout like this in awhile, but she pushed through.
"Hehe, attagirl!" Jinx laughed, and it made Lux's heart skip a beat, "Now who's the stupid monkey."
Lux huffed out a breath, and another. It was quite tough keeping herself up, but she's not going to let Jinx win. "I'm so gonna get you for that."
She swung forward.
"Catch me if you can!" Jinx taunted back and dodged.
Lux went swung back, again and again. Just like before Jinx just laughed and got away. She also didn't stop making stupid faces or noises.
The blonde didn't even notice when she started laughing. This was so utterly ridiculous, but somehow exactly what she needed right now. For just a moment all the weight of the world fell away, while she hung weightlessly in the air.
"Gotcha!" Lux beamed, when she finally caught up, only to then lose her grip, exhaustion finally catching up with her. "Whoa!"
Both tumbled down on the bed, giggling like little school children.
"Oh!" Jinx breathed out this quiet syllable, but it was enough to make Lux look.
She found pink eyes only inches away from her own face. They looked at her with worry in one moment, before quickly averting their gaze in the next. They were closer than Lux expected. She could count all those freckles again, on those cute cheeks, which currently acquired a darker shade of red.
She moved her arm before she felt it, and her hand landed on that cheek. It made the Punk look back into Lux's eyes. There was no avoiding it.
The only noise in the room now were their shallow breaths and rapid heartbeats.
In that one moment Jinx looked so peaceful, so beautiful.
Then her eyes dropped lower to Lux's lips.
A silent question was asked, maybe not even an intentional one.
But someone leaned forward-
Ba-dump
Closer and closer.
Ba-dump
She could feel the other's breath on her lips
CRASH!
"Luxanna! Are you okay?!"
"G-Garen what is the meaning of this!" Lux screamed shooting bolt upright so fast she could feel a sharp twang of pain in her back.
She panicked looking quickly to Garen and back down at her bed as a blur of blue had quickly disappeared under her covers. She pulled the duvet up over herself as well. Bracing for her brother to blow up at what he had seen.
"Lux that noise!" He sternly proclaimed loud yet not angry, just official and direct. A by product of his time during basic training at the army.
"Wha-what noise, I didn't hear anything…" Lux stammered out reaching up to twirl her hair subconsciously averting her gaze. Desperate for her door to suck her brother back and slam shut behind him.
But instead Garen let out a large sigh, "your chair Luxanna. You need to take care of it" he calmly stated, making long strides across the room and picking up the prone chair. Taking every care to check it over. "I know it gets to you at times, but with hard work. It will get easier, but for now you still have to be careful."
Lux sighed, letting her hand flop down to the covers which she tightly gripped with one hand. The other hand was squeezed reassuringly under the blanket. It gave her the strength to let a warming mask slipped over her face. "Sorry brother, it was just a hard day. Not what I expected.."
Giving his sister a caring look Garen smiled, but he could see something was, different about his sister. Something he hadn't seen before, "Was your um… what subject did you do again?"
Lux rolled her eyes, "photograph-Arghh!" The sudden warmth and clawing around Lux's body startled her, it had only just hit her that in her panic she was now in bed, with Jinx.
Who was under her covers.
They were both under her covers.
Jinx let her intrusive thoughts win and was currently curling herself tightly around Lux's waist and leg.
Fortunately the complete and total flustered panic on Lux's face, was completely oblivious to her brother, who was staring upwards into space attempting to find someway and something nice to say about photography.
"O-oh yes… photography. They have drones now that can scan and take very detailed topography…." He finally managed, and luckily didn't realise why Lux was looking at him with such a crazed expression. "Good for maps, a detailed map can save lives Luxanna."
"…Really brother, WOW I would never have guessed at such MILITARY APPLICATION!" Lux barely hanging on attempted casual conversation, but Jinx's supple long fingers attempting to find better hiding spaces had accidentally? found there way under Lux's top and almost tickled their way across her back.
Finally it seemed Garen had started to clock on that Lux was acting just a little strange. "Um yes, exactly." He tilted his large head, "Luxanna what's up with your bed?"
"My bed… what do you mean there's nothing wrong with my bed at all brother, haha. Honestly you and your observation, been out of the house too long on training. Starting to notice things that aren't there. Not that anything is there! I mean it's just me in bed, alone." Lux absolutely rambled, in a total fluster, not even able to choose which fake smile to go with her changes of expression matched the speed of words.
A large exhale of air stopped her, "Lux please.. stop lying, I'm not a fool. I have eyes." Before beginning to take large steps towards her.
Lux froze, beside her she could feel the bluenette stiffen, and hold tighter. Much tighter.
"Garen stop, no it's not what you think I just-" Lux began to plead, getting more scared with each of his steps.
"You fell today didn't you." He interrupted her, causing Lux to pause. "Why your chairs on the floor, and I could hear you struggling getting into bed." He then pointed with his might hand, "and you've shoved a pillow under your cover… guessing hurts to roll on one side."
Lux sat there staring at him, of course. That's what he thinks as that's what everyone always thought.
Her affliction, how weak she can be. The idea of Lux sneaking someone into her room, that a girl could be laying in bed with her right now.
That was so utterly, outside the realm of possibility… Something so, impossible for her.
Jinx could have stood in the middle of the room and be just as hidden, since everything around Lux, everything about her.
Was invisible, next to the only thing anyone saw.
Someone broken.
"Yes" she replied, the fake-ness back, the perfect sweet tone of who she was expected to be back in place. "I slipped, after my shower. I'm sorry brother I didn't want to worry anyone."
Garen stood straighter, glancing to the open door. "We should let mother know, you may need to go to the-"
"No!" Lux interrupted him, "I'm fine it's just a bruise, nothing to worry about. I am not going to be hospital."
"Lux if you have broken anything you need-" he protested but stopped, the look on his sister's face gave him a moment to pause. It was a plea, one he had seen many times before.
"Please Garen, no hospital. I just want to rest." She softly said.
Another large sigh escaped her brother's mouth. "...okay Lux, okay. But if you are still in pain tomorrow, we are going directly after classes, no questions."
Lux gave a weak smile, but a smile non the less. "Thank you, I promise if I'm still sore, we will go. I won't fight you."
With that Garen gave a warm smile back, his eyes tracing around the room one more time before pausing on the clock noticing the time, "Alright, just take it easy okay. You will get stronger in time. Just slow and steady."
"Slow and steady," Lux echoed back in a practiced tone, and she watched as her brother with a gentle nod made his way out her room, slowly closing the door behind him.
The relief washed over Lux immediately, letting out a large breath she absentmindedly flopped back down onto her bed. A arm reaching over her head and a wrist resting over her eyes.
It was only for a very brief second, but she stayed there, just accepting everything. Until she felt warm arms and legs continuing to hold her. Not letting go.
Looking down her eyes met pink peepers poking out under her covers looking up at her.
"Have they ever heard of knocking?" she asked immediately.
"What do you mean?"
That question seems to throw Jinx off. She scrambled out underneath the blankets. "Wait really? So you lived you entire life with the constant thought that someone could just walk in on you, catching you doing who knows what? You never had privacy? A space to yourself!?"
"I-I never looked at it that way." She really hasn't. It really shook her to her core realising why she felt slightly on edge for so long in this cage. It suddenly all made sense.
"They always treat you like that Hotwheels, just.. seeing only what they think." Jinx said, that fragile curios tone back in her raspy voice.
Lux stared at Jinx a second, never in a million could she have seen herself this morning sharing a moment like this with her. Letting her in, letting her actually see.
"It is, what it is Jinx. I don't blame them, I know they are trying. But yeah… it's always like this, not just at school." She finally replied.
Jinx looked away from her a moment, staring into the darkness of the covers, "No, I get it. They can't help but see the scars… no matter how hard you try hide them."
The words puzzled Lux, and she learned up in her elbows lifting the cover to reveal Jinx to the soft light of her room. "Jinx what do you mean by-"
"I should go." Jinx cut her off uncurling herself from around Lux and sitting upright. Slowly scooting across the bed to it's foot.
"Go? What no you can't leave now not after-" Lux protested looking at Jinx and leaning up herself. Suddenly the cold hit her side where Jinx previously was.
But the sight of Jinx standing there, staring out at the falling rain. It both took Lux's breath away and hit her like a crashing wave all at once.
Jinx was so still, so utterly silent. Both of which, not what anyone could describe Jinx as. But to Lux it was clear Jinx was deep in thought, almost muttering to herself.
Bargaining, wishing for something to give her permission.
Lux's mouth opened, it was so dry. Far more so than she had realised before, and the clamminess caught her off guard and the volume to her words didn't come out. You can stay.. stay with me
"Can't stay Blondie.. and your brother" She chuckled her shoulders bouncing as she did "seems about as protective as my sister." She shook her head, before mumbling under her breath, "Maybe even more, didn't think that was possible."
There was a still silence after her words again, like a punchline not hitting right, or a gut punch causing a sinking feeling right where it hurts, either way. Lux knew it hurt.
She felt her heart tug, her hand curl on the fabric where Jinx was just laying. "No Jinx, yes I asked you to go before but.. stay, please. I.. don't want you to leave"
Jinx stayed still, now standing, slowly twisting so her back was to Lux. As if fighting an internal struggle.
"Why.. why can't I just once, just this once, I just want to help. I only wanted to help
She wants me to…"
The words came so soft again, they weren't meant for Lux but someone else, something deeply internal and personal.
Then, Jinx reached down and adjusted her hair ties, her braids tightening back into perfect chaotic place.
"Heh, maybe next time Hotwheels." She said spinning round with a huge grin and giving Lux a playful wink. "Was fun, but this loose cannon's gotta fly..."
And just as she reached for the window, pulling herself up towards it, Lux could hear her one final time "For the record, you were pretty kick-ass on the drums"
"Wai-" Lux started but Jinx had already dashed out her window, disappearing into the cold night.
All that was left was the sound of the wind, the cold drizzle and patter if rain on a lonely windowsill. And Lux left alone in her bedroom.
Her eyes began to well, never had her safe space felt so empty, so unsafe and isolating.
"Why do you do this to me?" the words escaped her, "Why.. show me things I can't feel?" Her hands reached up, ready to catch tears she knew would fall.
And as she caught them, a new fire began in the pit of her stomach, a stubborn unrelenting burning that begun to fill her. "Fine. If this is how you want to change our game, I'll bite. I will fucking bite." She vowed, a promise of what was to come.
"You want a drummer Jinx! Il be your drummer! You will face me Lane!" She screamed, but then softly, gently into her covers which she pulled over herself. "You will see me… you.. see, me."
Lux in her screams, her conviction never heard the pain of the girl leaning against the icy stone wall beneath her window, wiping the eyeliner. Now running down her face.
But she heard her, "always Hotwheels, I can't keep my eyes off you"
