"How long will you be gone?” Sophie asked after a moment.
“Why?” Balor grinned at her. “Will you miss me?”
“I might,” Sophie said slowly. Even in the dark, he could see the glint in her eye, the slight smirk, the change in her body language when she pushed away from the tree trunk and took a step toward him. “If you give me something to miss.”
