Beatles Soulmate Hair Colors

Summary:

The Beatles discover that soon, a strand of your hair will tell you your soulmate. What happens next?

Chapter Text

The famous band, The Beatles, all sat on the couch together. It was a slow tuesday evening, they hadn't had any shows previously in the day. This was incredibly rare for them, as their schedule was usually jam-packed because of their newfound fame. John lazily looked through the channels, finding a criticism for each one.

"No.. no.. eugh," Lennon grumbled. It was clear the other members were starting to get annoyed.

"Just bloody pick one already!" George cried out, proceeding to grab the remote from John's grasp. Despite John's complaints, he swiftly decided they would watch the news. Even though it wasn't what they particularly wanted to watch, they would've been fine with anything at this point. Suddenly, an emergency broadcast appeared. BREAKING NEWS flashed across the screen in bright, bold letters.

"Breaking News! In the next sixteen hours, everyone will receive a hair colour. Your soulmate will have a matching strand! This will be revolutionary to the world of-"

The rest of the reporter's message became practically irrelevant as the room lit up with chatter. The four, now sitting up from their previously comfortable, slouched positions, began to discuss what was just shown.

"Wow! Soulmate hair colours? That sounds so cool!" Ringo exclaimed. However, the rest were more skeptical.

"Oi, that sounds like a load of rubbish. How do we know if its true or not? They could just be making up some story for the shock factor," John noted. Paul rushed to agree.

"Yeah, you can't trust the news nowadays! Y'know, they'll spin any rumour they can find!" Yet, internally, Paul was filled with questions. I wonder if me and John will be soulmates! Oh I bloody hope so. Still, I think he sees us as just friends... A downcast expression filled his face before he quickly shook it off and continued to interact with the others. Eventually, they all packed up and went to sleep, each with a different opinion on the matter.

When they woke up the next morning, the group looked up to see.. a timer? It read: Soulmate Colors In.. 45 minutes. Well, they knew it was real now. They called eachother and agreed to meet up for the soulmate color reveal in fifteen minutes. In addition, they decided to invite a few friends to create some more excitement to the event. The group, but mostly Paul though, spiffed themselves up for the occasion. Combing their hair and throwing on a nice outfit, they all headed out to the park to meet up. On any other day, the band would be swarmed the moment they entered a public space. Luckily, everyone was busy with their respective awaitings.

By the time everyone got there, there was only ten minutes before the colors would be revealed. Of course, Tung Tung Tung Sahur was not sahere. He had to be running late, as always.

Wait- how can he even get a soulmate color? He's literally a wooden stick.

The gathering consisted of nine people, the main four, Linda McCartney, Natsuki, Yuri, Spongebob, and Triple T. After doing a quick headcount, they noticed there was.. ten people? And a strange box? They decided that they would figure out who snuck in after they dealt with the cardboard box first. They weren't trying to not open it and get bombed. George began to approach the box with caution, as he was the most professional out of everyone there. Upon opening it, an odd yellow orb popped up and rushed towards the bunch.

"Hello! Im Verity, your personal helper friend! Ask me anything, I know everything," the yellow ball, apparently named Verity, announced. There was a tinge of agression on the word everything. Everyone seemed a bit on edge with its sudden appearance.

"Everything? Why are you here of all places!? Get out! Wait- it's not like I care or anything. Stay if you want. Jeez!" Natsuki yelled, averting her gaze. Verity started to get mad at this, his face a blend of dark fury.

As he was about to respond, Ringo interrupted him, "Everyone! It'll be revealed in 10 seconds! Close your eyes!!" Everybody quickly obeyed. Except for one person-Linda McCartney. She knew Paul had been sleeping around, and she was determined to stop it. If this worked, maybe they'd be together forever! Maybe they would even be featured in a Simpsons episode! As everyone counted down, she whipped out cans of blue spray paint. After finishing her own, Linda carefully grabbed a clump of Pauls hair and coated in the spray paint. Then, the timer hit zero, and the group opened their eyes.
